Great menus, very easy to get around, nice use of moving footage. They definately looked like official ones

or eaven better!
since you know the menu of the new DVDs bei GL will have no moving stuff!

Hello all,

Wow! I've been hunting something like this down since I was 7 years old! The Story of Star Wars lp IS my childhood. How do I get hold of a copy of this fantastic dvd? I can't get into myspleen and I don't have an account with 'the noid'. Is it being posted at any other bittorrent sites?

I just recieved my copy today and was very surprised to see the case cover with it. Looks awesome, great work. I've only gotten to view some of it so far and I am very impressed. I will definitely be getting copies of this to some of my friends. Thanks for the hard work.

I got mine on Tuesday or Wednesday (I have been out of town.) All I can say is WOW!

I really did not know what to expect, but this project really captured the nostalgia of the film. I was seriously blown away!

Got mine today. Firstly, I was os urprised to recieve this with a proper case and printed cover of the highest quality! Thanks a lot MA! Me n the missus sat down and watched it straight away and am highly impressed. All in all, a job well done. Congrats on your first official release Move Along, and thanks

This is a wondefully crafted project that truly shows the kind of care and dedictaion that MoveAlong put into it. The editing is superb; nice combination of stills with moving video. I haven't watched one of the Star Wars movies in a long time since I have seen them so many times and know them so well. As much as I wanted to watch this DVD after I got it I was reluctant because I didn't want to sit through what could have possibly been another 2 hour movie with some narration. I was happily impressed how MA was able to make the movie work in a shorter more fast-paced way.

The DVD-Rom portion is fun to look through, and the easter egg was a nice touch especially for people who had the Story of Album growing up. The audio options are what really make this DVD go from good to outstanding though. The choice of whether to listen to the movie with the straight '77 audio or a combination of the '04 and '77 is excellent. I have to say that I love the combo version best, but decide for yourselves.

I enjoyed the movie from start to finish, and eagerly await the next installments.

The only thing that could have made this better would have been having someone who actually knew what they were doing make the title crawl for this porject; what a hack!

cbaka, if the pars won't work for you, why don't you take advantage of a free trial from one of the premium usenet providers. For example, Giganews offers a free 3-day trial with up to 1GB. If you cancel before the 3 days are up, it will cost you nothing and you should be able to get the rar you need. I've used Giganews for a while and I love it. I used to have the $25/month unlimited account, but since segaflip slowed his posting, I've switched over to the 25GB/$12.99/month account. There really is no point of trying to get things from usenet without a premium provider. It will only frustrate you and annoy others (not me) when you complain that parts of posts are missing when, in fact, they are not. Good luck!

I posted TSOSW using Giganews and it shows up as 100% complete there and with binsearch.info.

Yeah, I think I'll try to get that "hack" lined up to complete the "Story Of" trilogy if I can ! Seriously though, your title crawl pushed this thing over the top as far as I'm concerned. Without it, the whole edit would have seemed a little lacking. Like I've said before... How can it be Star Wars without a crawl? Awesome work...

This is astounding. I've never heard this record sound so clean and beautiful. The Editing is also amazing. This is the one to show the younger one's who might have an underdeveloped attention span. Great work!
