Calling all Star Wars fans!

I am still looking to obtain a copy of MSNBC's Time & Again.

The programme takes a look at the Original Trilogy. I think it was originally broadcast in 2000, but has been shown since as I have a partially recorded copy (recorded by my sister with a very dodgy aerial signal).

It actually contains some behind the scenes footage that I have never seen anywhere else before, including, someone trying to perfect the Gammorean walk without the suit on. And more footage of Lucas discussing Sy Snootles with the creature shop people. Additionally there are several interviews that could easily be implemented as commentary tracks given the right editing. It's such a resourceful show, it would be a shame not to include it in my project.

I did recently think I had tracked down a copy but unfortunately it was another episode that looked at the Phantom Menace.

So if anybody has it, I would love to get a copy!

That sounds like an interesting special that in itself is worthy of a preservation project. Perfect for a babyhum release, or something similar. I've never heard of it myself, so I'm afraid I can't help, but I do hope someone else here can come up with the goods.

Perhaps you could write MSNBC and see if they can provide you with a copy. News networks used to do this sort of thing for a nominal charge.

I *might* have a copy of this. The sad thing is that *IF* I do, it's VHS and I have no way of capturing it.

Does this include the Gene Shalit interview from 11-July-1977? The Today Show re-ran this during all the SE hype, but I see from the images at the link that it was also re-run by MSNBC.

I taped this during the '97 repeat, but loaned the tape out to someone I lost contact with.
