The Godfather Part II (1974):
For some reason I didn’t find this as engaging or interesting as the first one. It might just be the running time.
Out of curiosity, how do you rank the Star Wars movies?

This way, obviously.

^The best way.
Deadly Friend (1986)
(spoilers, I guess)
I would really like to see the director’s cut of this movie – the PG-rated sci-fi thriller Craven originally shot. That sounds like a good movie. This cut – with Anne’s Ramsey’s decapitation by basketball and Kristy Swanson transforming into a terminator – wasn’t.

Rogue one last night.
Rogue one tonight.

It gets all the stars.
Video World (2013) ***1/2 (out of 5)
Video World is like other movie rental stores. It’s the best place in town to discover new films. It also went out of business. Documentary filmmaker Ben Churchill returns to his hometown of Woodbury, Connecticut to capture the store’s final weeks and celebrate the dying culture of local video stores.

John Wick - 7/10
Good fun. Reeves just delivers his lines so awkwardly. The action was breathtaking. Just watched the trailer for John Wick 2. Looks even better than the first.

DAVE CHAPPELLE (Netflix original) (2017)
This two part live stand-up special is possibly Chappelle’s best. The first show is traditional stand-up routine full of laughs. The second is smaller and more relaxed and casual. Both have many great bits. If you’re even a slight fan, check it out.
Those were pretty awesome. Shame about Charlie Murphy though.
Dr. Strange…it gave me a head ache and had I attempted 3d, I probably would have barfed. Not a bad movie tho, considering Marvel movies aren’t usually my thing.
Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. Laughed my ass off, great horror spoof.
^ I only watched it once, but Tucker & Dale was very fun.
I watched the first 15 minutes and decided I’d rather watch something else instead.
Then what happened?
Then
I read the first word and decided I’d rather read something else instead.
Nah, you read it.
N
That doesn’t make any sense.

It’s actually surprisingly good as it gets on.
Sorry, I forgot what the first word said and I don’t have time to read the whole thing now.
Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) – ★★★1/2 (Ebert scale)
Good movie. The comedy works well and it’s a fun ride. Sam Neil is good, along with the rest of the cast. Good performances all around. I actually never knew that he was a New Zealand guy until I read some after watching the film.

SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.
The Mummy
The Fate of the Furious
One good, one bad (not respectively).

Loved that one.

I liked this too, really solid film. Forgets about logic towards the end but everything else is pretty great.
Videodrome (1983)
