ABC use to air certain episodes of the Planet of the Apes TV series edited together into a series of five “movies”. They filmed several short clips with Roddy McDowall as an aged Galen introducing each film. ABC called this series of movies The New Planet of the Apes. The Planet of the Apes TV series has been released on DVD, but they are the originally aired versions, which I much prefer anyway. But for preservation and completeness, I was wondering if anybody had decent copies of these? Or if an effort has ever been made towards preserving these? I found a site with poor quality clips of all the old Galen scenes, does anybody have these clips in decent quality?
