When you're done watching the Holiday Special, this 'Super Live Adventure' could act as a commercial break before the 'Ewoks on Ice' preservation.

I remember seeing this previewed on Sci-Fi Buzz at the time. There were glimpses of a kick ass Vader/Luke saber fight, and a life-size Millennium Falcon that comes in for a landing! Pity it never made it to the states.

Why they included Tucker of all things, but leave out THX-1138 and Howard the Duck, I'll never know! ;)

"Even though it toured in Japan, where Lucas’ work is loved widely, the Super Live Adventure wasn’t tailored to the Japanese audience"

"We wanted it to be something that would play anywhere. Unfortunately, Feld Productions were unable to find new financial backing to bring the show to the United States or anywhere else."

Typical Lucas.

I love everybody. Lets all smoke some reefer and chill. Hug and kisses for everybody.

I've been on a kick lately watching all the Lucas-involved films I've not seen so far.

Turns out, I really enjoyed Tucker.  Radioland Murders, on the other hand, was just bad.  A great concept, decent acting (for a show meant to be a farce), but bad writing and poor timing and editing.

I've seen nearly everything Lucas ever touched at this point, including over half of his early student films.

Radioland Murders was one of those projects Lucas kept mentioning since the '70's. I have no idea why it took so long to finally get made. IIRC, it was also the debut of the current Lucasfilm logo.

I'm kind of miffed it enjoyed two DVD releases, while Howard the Duck went unreleased for so long, and we're still waiting for Twice Upon a Time!
