My first date movie (that I remember) was Christmas Vacation.

I’ve been told the first movie I saw in theaters was probably Jurassic Park.

I’m sure there were plenty of home releases before then, though. None of these I actually remember, though.

The first movie I remember seeing in the theater was probably Disney’s The Little Mermaid (1989).

The first movie I remember seeing all the way through was probably one of the following three: Dumbo (1941), Robin Hood (1973), or Alice in Wonderland (1951).

You might reasonably guess that I grew up on Disney.

When my mum was pregnant with me she saw Saturday Night Fever so I guess that’s the first movie I heard. But I’m very proud to say that my first movie watched in the cinema was Star Wars (a re-release in 1985ish.)

I think the first one I remember was Lion King, but I could very well be wrong about that. I remember getting scared during the Power Rangers movie so we left early - I’m too lazy to look up which came out first, but those are the two earliest ones I remember.

I think Lion King was my first theater movie as well.

Raiders of the Lost Ark was my first theater experience.
Meaning I was a well behaved baby boy whom the folks trusted not to act a fool in a dark theater.
That’s the night they learned to never again trust their own judgment.

My first theater memory is Ghostbusters, from where I got the name I’ve use as my own since.
