You could tell it was fake just by zooming in on that gif. The quality of that CG model was...not optimal. It looked like something out of a 90s FMV game.
I doubt it takes that long to cut a trailer these days. It'll be finished soon enough.

I liked that fake GIF though.
Still not sure about the squarial but it could be just shock of the new.
Maybe Han will find a round one in a junkyard, and replace it? ;)

I am going out on a limb and say that the GIF Falcon shot is a fake.

His site closed down shortly after Disney bought Lucasfilm. I guess Disney had less tolerance for Supe's shenanigans than Lucas did and pulled the metaphorical carpet out from under him.

I remember the Wookieepedia article on SuperShadow used to feature a poorly Photoshopped movie poster they claimed he'd created for his Episode VII, but I never actually saw the image itself of SuperShadow.com.
Has anyone compared those laser blasts in that GIF to the Slave I's in AOTC where it's firing directly at the camera too? From memory, they both look the same, but are they?
I will be 'thankful' if the teaser will in fact be appearing as soon as next weekend, I can hardly wait now ;)

I'm not a big fan of the title. One thing I liked about the OT titles was they had a little bit of a sense of obscurity to them if you haven't seen them before. With the "Force Awakens" there's nothing to learn from it. When I heard "A New Hope" for the first time, I always kind of wondered what that meant. "TESB" is obviously not very obscure, but if you know nothing about Star Wars before going in to see it, it is kind of obscure. Same with ROTJ and even TPM, AOTC, & ROTS. Of course most people didn't seem to like AOTC, & ROTS titles. I agree they were bad and they don't even make much logical sense compared to the movies.

@unamochilla2, what I meant was whoever created that gif possibly extracted the exact same firing blasts from the Slave I in AOTC (proving it is indeed a fake). I'm not sure though.

Apart from our 'Heroes', no one in the galaxy has really seen a lighsaber in battle since the Jedi were in power....A long time ago!
Furthermore, in Star Wars (1977), the Jedi are seen by other characters as a joke and as the underdogs fighting against a technologically superior foe. If the movies made since then are anything to go by, technology should be the underdog. I wonder if TFA will present Jedi as underdogs like the good old days of 1977.
