I had intended to put up a fun April Fool's posting on the Star Wars Holiday Special website, as I have done at least once before in the past. It's always fun to write up things like that, and what better foolish subject matter than the Holiday Special?

Unfortunately, I found out early this morning that the girl I've been seeing for a long time now, previously my girlfriend, has decided to see someone else. Just like that, as if switching a light off. Kind of takes the wind right out of your sails.

So no April Fool's jokes for me this year. I just don't have the heart for it now.

Why am I mentioning this here? I honestly don't know; maybe it helps me feel better.

You'd better... get on with your exercises.

That would be one cruel April fool's joke. Sorry to hear about that SKot. Nice way to start off a new month. I know this is what everybody says, but there are a lot of girls out there. This girl dumped you, so it proves she wasn't worth it. You'll find another girl who is much cooler and can kick the pants off that old girl, and she'll be much more loyal too. None of this dumping "as if turning off the lights" crap.

I have to agree with Cassidy. That tatoo doesn't really do much for me either.

Thanks, Sluggo, and everyone else for the sentiments! Well, I do intend to keep my eyes wide open for females of the Star Wars-minded persuasion at Celebration 4. Certainly would be interesting to date a girl that not just *tolerated* Star Wars or was willing to watch it occasionally, but was actually a big fan. That would be a first. But it's a very tough find, particularly for my age group (late 30s). There's a whole lot more female Star Wars fans in the next generations down, I think.

The Tusken Raider female was definitely the hottie of the two there.
