Sluggo was going to do another one, but I don't think he ever got around to it.

Some really good Ewok related art in the Star Wars poster book, if anyone wants to have a go at it.

Sure. My gf is already hoping up and down at the idea of an Ewok dvd to watch so I may take a spin at making one or three.

I would like to request that only the D3 version be torrented.
MoveAlong, is yours D3 ?

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

I was just talking to Sluggo the other day about working on a final, "official" cover for that. That's the one disc I have right now that's screaming for a good cover.

Sluggo, let's talk some more about it...

I think I got it from absw the last time it was available. It has the JACKET_P's, so I'm assuming it is "D3".

You can go about your business. Move along, move along.

In either case, your checksums and timestamp match the ones I posted here on 2005-08-17
so it seems we both have the same version, whichever version it is....

With all due respect, how can you be sure he's got D3
if he didn't get it directly from you ?

If you haven't already, be sure to read opcmovie's 2005-05-13 post.

IIRC you've mentioned seeding yours @myspleen. Are you still considering it ?
I hope ocpmovie will answer your question authoritatively.

Edit: Wrong date. Make that 2005-05-13 (if you live in Greenwich)

There were only a couple of D2 copies released. I don't really still like having to deal with questions about this.

Yes I'm still considering it. I didn't get an "authoritative" answer so I guess I"ll seed what I have...maybe after Blade Runner is done.

Not quite there ...

Return of the Ewok has been put up at Myspleen, by the way - twice.

he probably means that with some text on the back...it'll be good to go.

let us know when its complete, as I would love to have copy of it so that I can shelve my ROTE disc next to all the other SW dvds

Does anyone have a higher quality copy of the Donny & Marie show than ocp's?
SilverWook - how does yours compare?

I second THX's query. This is another of those things that (despite the source material) needs a really serious preservation effort.

Who's got the best copy out there?

Rowman recently sent me a much better copy of the entire Donny and Marie episode.

In the new issue of insider there is an article on the guy who directed Return of the Ewok.

“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.

I'm with Skot. The Donny & Marie show is truly awful, but it's from between SW & ESB, it's officially licensed and features some of the original cast as well as authentic wardrobe and music from SW. In these respects it's up there (down there?) with the Holiday Special.

ocp - are you planning a "Return of the Ewok" v2 or something different? It seems to me that this would make a good compilation with the contemporary Muppet Show and Sesame Street episodes.

Sluggo, any new covers available for this? maybe in the near future?

klokwork was a-doin' a good one. I've got a cover in the works, somewhat along the lines of the official release of the Ewoks and Droids cartoons. If I get time to spruce it up, i'll put it up sometime.
