Thanks! I think I’ll have time to watch them all though before the next season of the Mandalorian comes out. I’m a somewhat obsessive completionist, so I have trouble skipping over things… Very cool poster though.
If you are looking to catch up on clone wars but don’t care to spend as much time watching all the episodes (including filler) I can point you here: https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/The-Clone-Wars-2008-Episode-Guide/id/77657

You were supposed to cheer for Ahsoka and Bo-Katan and Boba Fett turning up
Well, you may have had the wrong dub. Here’s how it actually happened:
The process of Rosario evolving into Ahsoka are gone by steps:
- Rosario puts her hair up and puts the wig cap on but her ponytail is not covered.
- The artists apply white latex under Rosario’s eyes.
- The artists then put the white dome to cover Rosario’s ponytail.
- Brian then applies the rubbery piece onto her eyebrows and hair strands.
- Rosario’s face and neck are then painted orange.
- The buds are then placed into her ears.
- The artists place the plastic mask onto Rosario’s face so that the white tatoos can be airbrushed.
- The plastic mask is removed and the headpiece is then placed onto Rosario’s head.
- Her arms, hands, and back were then painted orange.
- Rosario then puts on the blue contact lenses and her evolution is finished.
Here’s the process of How Rosario becomes Tano. I’m not sure if I’m accurate, but Rosario can tell us the REAL process of how she becomes Ahsoka Tano.

Yeah we all saw your post the first time.
I watched the Disney Gallery season 2 episode and saw the title “Huckleberry” projected at the beginning, and it reminded me of an IndieWire article I’d read in 2018 about Werner Herzog’s next projects and he mentions acting in “a big franchise film, about which I’m not supposed to say anything, I can only say the title. The code name is ‘Huckleberry.’”
At the time I thought, as the writer did, that it meant that he was going to be in the new Top Gun.

Hi everyone,
I don’t know if someone already did it, but it’s more comfortable for others countries to watch the mandalorian this way:

On the subject of starwars, I also published another blog post today on why I dislike the character of Poe Dameron, in particular: https://henrynsilva.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-problem-with-poe-dameron.html?m=1

I’m really enjoying these! I feel like my own feelings on the films/shows line up with yours a lot.

Thanks! Glad to hear that 😃 I plan on writing at least one more Star Wars-related post (for now). Will let you know when that’s up!

I really enjoyed your essays, particularly your big 4-parter from November. In fact, it was part of what spurred me to finally write my own essay (https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/star-wars-has-felt-off-to-me-since-1980-essay/id/82758), putting down my conflicted feelings about Star Wars as it has developed and changed over the last 40 years.
Not an official video, but still some really interesting observations about the VFX in the series, especially the young Luke effect which seems to most likely be a type of deep fake like I assumed.

Thanks! I’ll definitely check your essay out too! I also just wrote another new one: I wrote another series of Star Wars articles (three this time) where I analyze each film and show one at a time. Here’s Part 1 (there’s a link to the next part at the end of each post): https://henrynsilva.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-good-bad-star-wars-lucas-era.html?m=1

Corridor Crew| We Made a Better CGi Luke Skywalker
Peace is a lie
There is only passion…
Really interesting to see which elements that make it feel more alive, especially the given time and budget restrictions. The wig though hahah.
Yeah the wig was a bit poofy but I still think the deepfake looked better. Definitely the right choice to use their own actor for the deepfake. The way ILM pasted their 3D model onto their actor made the motions too creamy and unnatural, so if Corridor used it as their source the motions in the deepfake would retain that unnatural quality.

Corridor were exactly right in noting that it was performance that was primarily off, not the technology. The new Luke actually emotes.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
Precisely. Same thing happened with Tarkin and Leia, although I think Tarkin was the best of the three. It was highly noticable to me how minimal and stiff Luke’s motions were, like he was glued in place.

Is there a way to keep the ILM Luke but change his eyes? Or the end result would remain uncanny no matter what we could do?
Corridor Crew have obviously done a great job on a lower budget, but ‘We Made A Better CGI Luke Skywalker’ is such an obnoxious clickbaity title.

SandMTV, I’ve a nice surprise for you. Rosario Dawson’s been sharing timelapse videos of her Ahsoka make-up process, it’s so fast it’s sometimes hard to catch what’s going on but they’re still very interesting.
