I was annoyed to discover Megashares no longer exists and most of my fanedit uploads are gone.

Not truly gone, as I still have them on my PC plus 2 external backups, but I have to reupload them all somewhere else.

I saw that. So awful.

I wasn’t aware that Transformers The Movie was so important.

It’s very important, because it’s an anime.

Anime is an animated film/series that is originally made in Japanese language. That thing clearly does not pass the main condition.

noun: anime
a style of Japanese film and television animation, typically aimed at adults as well as children.

Wikipedia says:

Anime (Japanese: アニメ) is Japanese hand-drawn or computer animation.

The Transformers along with its continuation, The Transformers: The Movie, was animated by Toei, a Japanese animation studio, and both look like any reasonably well animated anime from the 1980s.

Seems to me that it fits the criteria for being an anime pretty well.

I would say that being written for the English language originally doesn’t really hold much on the matter, especially considering that a Japanese dub was produced simultaneously, IIRC.

There isn’t even one photograph of her and I together. Not one moment of any of our moments together captured for all posterity – not the best ones, not the worst. We may as well have never even met.

I fucked everything up from the moment I met her. I deserve the torments of whatever Hell there is for at least sixteen years; if they purify me to the point where I’m worthy of being in her presence again, it would be worth it just to be able to see and speak to her again.

Seeing as how she’s married with children from what I remember you mentioning, that wouldn’t do you any good.

Stop dwelling on her.

EDIT: Just to add, I actually do empathize with your situation to a degree. I’ve screwed up plenty of relationships, but you have to realize that just because two people aren’t compatible it doesn’t mean that either one is evil, bad, or even really at fault. Some things just don’t work out.

This.

You have to keep moving forward. You trap yourself in the past and that does nobody any good.

Wikipedia disagrees with you:
The Transformers: The Movie is a 1986 American animated science fiction action adventure film

As for the definition, there is actually no ground-truth definition for anime. The one provided by Google search is indeed very common, however it also very unclear and subjective (especially with the “style” crap). On the other hand, my definition is objective and makes a clear distinction.

Anime: trash

Transformers: not trash (cheesy and immature at worst)

Therefore, Transformers is not Anime.

High-class English might seem a bit unnatural to a peasant. Seeing how you did not capitalise “English”, it is obvious that even the basics are unnatural to you.

“It also very unclear” is most certainly broken English; “it” should be “it’s” or “it is”.

I know it’s frowned upon to complain about the software, but…

I miss the “Top” button we had briefly. I’ve nearly posted advice regarding markdown syntax a bunch of times by going to press the lowest button on the page. And don’t even get me started on said syntax’s inability to float images left and all the “captioned” posts rent asunder…

Every time I try to watch a YouTube video with “Topic” in the title, all I ever get is the same “This video is not available. Sorry about that.” message.

What the hell is up with that?
