His annoyance to me and many others is what makes it terrible.

It’s always been my headcanon that Jar Jar was imprisoned and tortured until his dying breath. I wish there would have been a scene in TFA in which we either see him die or see his remains or something. Maybe his corpse could be reminiscent of Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen.

J.J. allegedly wanted to show a Gungan pile of bones.

Palpatine allowing JarJar to live a quiet life forever haunted by his role putting him into power would be a far worse fate though.

He should have done it though it could be seen as needlessly pandering to the core fans. I wouldn’t have cared though.

I doubt Jar Jar has the mental capacity to even comprehend what his idiocy brought about. I think above all else that is the worst fate.

Blame the Empire on Jar Jar.

No, seriously. It’s all Jar Jar’s fault.

I know I’ve posted this before, but never from this angle. 😉

JarJar is basically goofy. And goofy got married and had 1 or 2 kids. So really, if you can talk to a girl that’s good enough to get you a woman even if you’re goofy.

Offically sanctioned Ewok firing a blaster? If so, we’ve come a long way from Lucasfilm forcing Topps to remove a knife from an Ewoks hand back in the 90’s.

What’s this about Topps and Ewok knives? I want to hear that story.

“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

Long story short, a Topps promo trading card back in 1993 showed Ewoks attacking a Biker scout…

Someone at Lucasfilm objected, (presumably George) and the card that made it into regular packs was retouched.

The original unaltered card was valuable for a time before Ebay existed. That the spiked club ball of death was left alone is hilarious. Did Ewoks even have such a thing?

Another card showing a what appears to be members of Yoda’s species worshiping an idol was withdrawn completely. Very few got out, so it’s rare.

Ok, so what’s the difference between the Ewok cards? Besides that one has richer color?

Look above the Biker Scout’s head. 😉

Holy S***. He was gonna stab him in the head. No wonder GL wanted that removed. Funny that he lets people get limbs cut off by light sabers but he stops at metal blades.

So I was just browsing Ebay and I found this

It’s one of the original animation cells of the animated segment from the Holiday Special

Is this a cel or a drawing on paper?
Shouldn’t it be colored if it is a used animation cel?

Star Wars is Surrealism, not Science Fiction (essay)
Original Trilogy Documentaries/Making-Ofs (YouTube, Vimeo, etc. finds)
Beyond the OT Documentaries/Making-Ofs (YouTube, Vimeo, etc. finds)

Just checked the listing again, it’s a cel drawing.

Strange. I wonder why it’s colorless then?

Animation is drawn on paper before the linework is traced onto a cel and inked.
