The Schumacher batman movies are the only ones we admit are bad. There never has been a good live action Batman movie ever. In hindsight, Nolan doubled our suffering.

Just shut the fuck up.
If Heath Ledger was still alive, the Dark Knight would not be #4 on the imdb top 250. It the millennial version of The Crow. The batman movies are on the same level as the fantastic four adaptations.
BTW Dunkirk is going to suck hard. If you think otherwise, let direct you to Anne Hathaway’s monologue on love from Interstellar.
I’ve never seen someone complain so much about movies they’ve never seen.
The Person in Question
I refuse to give Snyder money by paying to see the film; it’s not ethical.
Nolan is an extremely overrated director (I have seen his three batman films) who is now in creative decline.
There never has been a good live action Batman movie ever.
Actually, there has been four.
Not enough people read the EU.

If that were true, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus would also be on there, but the movie was underwhelming so it isn’t. Heath Ledger made the Joker into a shockingly realistic character regardless of his death.

Name them. I only count two.
EDIT: I meant three, since we’re saying good, not great.
Army of Darkness: The Medieval Deadit | The Terminator - Color Regrade | The Wrong Trousers - Audio Preservation
SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.

Obviously everybody has a different opinion, but for me personally the good ones are Batman 89, Batman Returns, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Debatable good ones are Batman Forever and The Dark Knight Rises.
Furthermore I don’t understand why anybody should really give a shit if someone loves a movie you hate. I hate “Man of Steel” for example, but don’t automatically think anybody that likes it is a moron or has terrible taste.

Agreed. Though, discussing differing opinions is one fun part of this site, is it not?

Sneak in the back door while people are leaving.
The Person in Question
Live action:
Batman Returns - Not really a Batman film, but still the best movie with the word Batman in the title. Classic Burton, if there ever was one.
Batman '89 - Not as good as above, but silly and fun none the less.
Batman '66 - I prefer the really good chapters from the TV show, but it’s an overall decent effort.
The Dark Knight - Far too stuck up its own ass, albeit not as incoherent as
The Dark Knight Rises - No, it does not work as an arthouse film, either. It’s too stupid for that.
Batman Begins - I’m always bored to tears with this one.
Batman & Robin - Most people agree it’s too silly, I think it’s not silly enough.
Batman Forever - It’s all over the place. I’d like to see the rough cut, though.
Animation:
Mask of the Phantasm - Need I say more?
Batman & Mr. Freeze Sub-zero - Arguably the best movie with Mr. Freeze in it, if that counts.
Mystery of the Batwoman - Not so much a mystery, but what can one do about it?
Batman vs. Dracula - Absolute horseshit. Can remember anything from it, other than Alfred looking bored.
Caligula’expanded OST, V2 Released
The Shining’s complete OST
Ghidorah, The Tree-Headed Monster (English dub synched to Toho cut)

I agree although I would add Batman v Superman to the debateable list

I take it you haven’t seen Batman Beyond - The Return of the Joker then. Check that shit out for sure. My favorite animated Batman flick and actually my second favorite overall Batman movie.

Maybe after the director’s cut or after fan edits.
Each section in release order:
Great: 89, TDK.
Good: Returns, Begins, TDKR
Okay: 66, BVS
Bad: Forever, B&R
.

Yeah I’m awaiting the release to see it in non-sloppy-editing form

Bad: Forever
Mmm, maybe I just have nostalgia goggles preventing me from disliking it, although I do see the flaws, I still like it

I was never awfully interested in Batman Beyond, but I did see the flashback sequence, which is great.
I suppose we could also include the 3 part episode Batman And Superman: World’s Finest, since it’s advertised as a movie in some places. It was a mountain of meh.

Yeah I was really kind of whatever about Batman Beyond but that Joker movie is legit. I haven’t seen the World’s Finest thing yet, but thanks for letting me know it was subpar.

I haven’t seen it since I was a kid so I can’t say for sure, but the Batman and Superman animated movie is pretty good. Good enough at least for me to be wishing I was watching it instead when I saw BvS.
Did everyone else watch a different cut of Batman Returns than I did? The one I saw had medocre acting, a poor story, overly campy moments that don’t mesh well with the gothic tone, and about ten minutes of actual Batman. The Penguin was also very cringeworthy. Though I did like Catwoman and Max Shreck.
