Eh, still not liking it, especially the black patterning on the tights. Besides, I prefer Spidey with larger eyes.

Sick to death of Super Hero movies.

Don’t worry it’s a very minor point of the film. Hope you enjoy it!

Ah, I’m not worried about it. I didn’t really care for the first CA film, aside from the period setting.
I’ve heard nothin’ but good things about the sequel. I’ve been lazy about getting around to watching it though.
I watched Ant-Man recently and really liked it. I hope they make more smaller stories like that and less huge “epics” like the Avengers films.
The return of Spidey, if he’s done right, could easily bring me back into the fandom.

The first Captain America was a pretty good movie while it was about Steve Rogers. As soon as he became Captain America, the movie lost me. The second Captain America was a fantastic action movie, it didn’t even feel like a superhero movie (which is a good thing) until the guy with the metallic wings appeared. The third movie is done by the same people as the second one afaik, so there’s a big chance it will be great.

I think Marvel Spidey looks pretty cool.

All I care about is Iron Man anyway though, tbh.

Keep Circulating the Tapes.

I’m probably on the edge of being sick of superhero movies.

On one hand, some of my favorite heroes are finally coming to the big screen (Dr. Strange!) and some of my other faves are put in strong movies (Cap with The underrated First Avenger, TWS, and probably Civil War).

Then again, a lot of heroes I don’t care quite as much for are put in movies I don’t care for, the number of which seems to be quickly increasing (the Thor movies, the Iron Man sequels, Ant-Man, the last 3 Spidey movies).

And worst of all, there’s what I consider to be an utterly horrible misinterpretation of my favorite superhero of all-time: Man of Steel. If that kind of cinematic disease spreads, and it seems it might spread to BvS and beyond, then I’ll get sick fast.

Good to hear I am not the only one!

You’re certainly not.

That being said, I’ll give almost anything Spidey-related a chance (especially with Andrew Garfield out of the picture).

I have a special place in my heart for Spidey and Batman. I did not even mind Andrew too much, that being said I only saw the first of his movies, which from what I have heard is the lesser of the two evils.

I have nothing against Marvel or DC or any character in general for that matter, I just feel that they have saturated the market for superheroes.

This tweet sums up today’s goings on. I shall return upon completion of it.

In the meantime, I was finally able to finish up season two of Agent Carter. The writing was a definite improvement from the first and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m sad that given the ratings its unlikely to return for a third round. Especially since we still haven’t even seen the formation of SHIELD yet! Still, I quite enjoyed my time with Peggy and Jarvis. I just hope we’ll see them again someday.

For those of you who have seen the 2nd Daredevil season already, any idea when does it take place on the timeline?

You know, as much as I like the shows, they make me sad because it means we will probably never see a full Daredevil movie, or full Punisher movie, or full movie about Jessica Jones, Agent Carter, any other show Marvel makes up.

A lot of the best creatives have migrated to television because of the freedom over the film industry. Because of this, the writing for television surpassed most film a while ago.

As such, I’m quite happy to have these shows instead of films. They do a lot more for the characters than a two hour film would.

Finally finished Carter a couple nights ago. The season was actually pretty good until the underwhelming ending. Also the mini-cliffhanger that felt like a desperate attempt to get enough interest for another season.

First two episodes of Daredevil S2 were good. I hear it is really supposed to pick up steam later on, but I was surprised by a lot of negative reviews I’m seeing.

Daredevil Season Two (2016)

Wow. That was excellent. I honestly think these first two seasons of Daredevil are the best thing that have come out of the MCU. The only thing else that comes close is probably Winter Soldier. Man that was good.

All of my ratings for the MCU movies:

Iron Man: 3.5/4
The Incredible Hulk: 2.5/4
Iron Man 2: 2/4
Thor: 2/4
Captain America: The First Avenger: 3/4
The Avengers: 2.5/4
Iron Man 3: 3/4
Thor: The Dark World: 2/4
Captain America: The Winter Soldier: 4/4
Guardians of the Galaxy: 2/4
Avengers: Age of Ultron: 3/4
Ant-Man: 3/4

I don’t hate any of them. It’s just on the whole they aren’t the best.

With the passage of time comes yet another change of opinion, now I rate them like this:

Iron Man: B
The Incredible Hulk: D
Iron Man 2: C
Thor: C-
Captain America: The First Avenger: C+
The Avengers: B-
Iron Man 3: B-
Thor: The Dark World: C
Captain America: The Winter Soldier: B+
Guardians of the Galaxy: B
Avengers: Age of Ultron: C-
Ant-Man: C

Wow, only five out of 12 films that I actually like. Let’s hope that Civil War can make it six out of 13.

Not enough people read the EU.
