Adywan will be painting his own official cover art, as he did with A New Hope, I believe.

Due to one of the health problems i have, it is now impossible for me to paint any more of the covers for Revisited. Unfortunately drawing and painting is something i have had to accept that i will probably never be able to do again

Oh dear! How on earth did that come about?

Ol’ George has the GOUT, I see.

I’m sure this has already been discussed but I don’t feel like searching through 1284 pages so I’ll just ask. Will you be restoring the unused (in 1980) music for the transitions to the bounty hunter scene and Captain Needa’s death, as the SE did? One of the few things they got right, in my opinion.

Yeah that is very much a which one to use scenario…I don’t think this has been confirmed?

I believe the music cues from some of the special edition transitions are being used but the clips were labeled temp audio so not really anything concrete.

The omitted music after Luke says “I’m not afraid” and Yoda says “You Will be…YOU WILL BE” do you think that music was chopped out because Joe Johnston was planning on showing a Space Slug coming out of a hole and eating a tie bomber.

Basically the footage exists although never seen yet Joe Johnston exclaimed that it looked awful but I am wondering if this was the reason for the music being cut even though it was scored without that footage of Space Slug eating a tie bomber did it somehow push this particular music transistion from being included?

I think it is the only reason I could find as to why it was never there in the film other than the simple answer it was just cut.

This was on the Facebook…

First Composite… Looks Great!

How are you going to do the block slamming down??

Ahh anyway quick note which I am sure you are aware of. 2004 sondmix (not sure about Blu ray) has the sound for the the Carbonite Block slam come in late. It is in synch in the Gout. I hope you fixed that. Really sloppy sound mix edit there in the SE.

I just want to know how he got the original cast together and looking so young.

Can someone remind me what is different? The fingers?

Wow…I had initially thought that this would be too grandiose for Ady but yet again he curb stomped my incredulity. Astounding work.

^ Honestly I can tell the difference but I can not tell the difference top marks in my opinion.

Grandiose?

I am merely referring to the differences in the sound mix it is not anything to difficult and if you watched the block slam down a number of times you would notice it…I am quite sure it’s a fairly known thing now?

Seriously do you think I am being hienous or something?

hmmm perhaps you did a lazy reply no big deal anyway.

I think he’s referring to Adywan being grandiose, not your sound mix point.

I can not see anything grandiose about it, It is what it is a new element…

Edit.

Just wanted to elaborate on why the Carbonite block Slam is late in the special edition. Is probably due to failing to duplicate or replicate the music edit in the original when making the new sound mix.

I didn’t think Ady would be able to recreate the HIC so perfectly.

I have been looking through trailers and I found a shot that is a fix for a continuity problem.

https://youtu.be/0ZSDZucchQc?t=10

When Han shoots at Vader in the Dining Room, Han goes from being standing shooting to suddenly being pulled away by Leia.

In the trailer here there features a reaction of Han to Vader Blocking the Laser Han fired and then him pushing Leia Behind him Leia Distraght tries to Tug Han away. Resume next blast of Laser fire from Han. Actually it might come before he uses his gun as the arm he uses to push Leia behind him Is the one he uses to also fire his gun.

Actually It corrects Leia being in front of Han…

Shame I can’t seem to find this trailer in the right aspect ratio or the same as the film… I’m sure you know of it but I have never seen this until just now or it never registered before until just now.

Anyway I really like the look on their faces, it is excellent.

It’s too blurry to use it’s a shame that the blu-ray sets didn’t have every single bit of filmed footage in HD but that’s not the biggest flaw of that pile (I can’t bring myself to actually watch the films in the set).

Well, the internet is what gives a Jedi his power. It’s an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us; it binds the galaxy together.
