I got the remote control BB-8 for Christmas.
I’m 34 years old. Deal with it 😃
War does not make one great.
Bought the Thrawn trilogy a few days ago.
(Even though I enjoyed TFA I’ve gotten this sudden urge to go back to the old EU. I’ve already dug up all of my old comic books from the 90’s.)
EDIT: speaking of SW games on gog.com, I pretty much bought all of them (PT games being the exception) when they were released. I was especially glad to see an official digital release of Galactic Battlegrounds (one of my favourite games as a kid).

Original Trilogy Documentaries/Making-Ofs (YouTube, Vimeo, etc. finds)
Beyond the OT Documentaries/Making-Ofs (YouTube, Vimeo, etc. finds)
Amazon link to my novel; Dawn of the Karabu.
Beside TFA screening ticket, the latest thing was actually SWTOR in 2011. One of my favourite PC games ever.

Also just bought jedi knight: dark forces 2 on gog.com
Bought a used copy of TESB (GOUT version) off of Amazon a couple weeks back.
Got the limited edition Empire magazine Kylo Ren issue / figure for Christmas which was nice.
First Order Stormtrooper Pop! Vinyl Bobble Figure for Christmas.
$40 Peter Mayhew autograph signing at Dragon*Con last September
The Rise of Failures
Nice, I got that same set at some weird used junk store for 5 bucks.
Absolute most recent was probably a batch of comics.
More a gift than a buy, but I got the ROTJ Rinzler book for Christmas. My aunt’s given me each of them these past three Christmases, so now I’ve got the set 😃
Oh, and the TFA soundtrack.
Nice, I got that same set at some weird used junk store for 5 bucks.
I paid full price – 21 years ago. Well, the thread title does only specify “latest”, not “recent”…
I thought about also getting the Han\Fett pair, tossing the Fett sock, and having Han & Chewie together. Didn’t do it.

Into a pit?
And I thought Star Wars underoos were strange. 😉
Where were you in '77?
My sister has a Disney Visa to earn money for when they go to the theme parks and since some of it was expiring she put it on a gift card and sent it to me. So I used it at the Disney Store and got.

It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher
Let’s see…my recent Star Wars purchases…
Well, I’m an avid thrifter, and I recently picked up a few things for pretty cheap at Goodwill:
A couple of “Force Action” lightsabers for $2.99 each (these are the ones that can maim a child with the touch of a button…Hence, why they no longer make these…).
Talking plush Yoda (the mouth actually moves as he dispenses his wisdom, and all for the low, low price of $3.99; as a side benefit, his training will hopefully reduce my chances of maiming any children with the aforementioned “Force Action” lightsabers).
Star Wars MTT Droid Carrier Vehicle
This is actually pretty cool (for a prequel toy). When you push a button, the carrier comes to life and actually deploys the droids (Roger, Roger!). Not too bad for $4.99 (especially since this seems to retail for over $150 bucks).
31" “My Size” Darth Vader (a bit pricey for $14.99, but he looks pretty cool standing on a shelf in my gameroom).
Hasbro Hero Series Millennium Falcon (this thing is absolutely HUGE and was only $9.99).
For some sense of scale, here it is next to my copy of Star Wars: Epic Duels (also purchased for $2.99 at Goodwill):
Seems about right to me; say “Hi”, Chewbacca…“Rrraarhrrarahr”…
I also picked up a few things that weren’t from Goodwill:
This actually plays nothing like Risk (they just used the name for brand recognition). It actually plays more like a streamlined version of Star Wars: The Queen’s Gambit (if you know your board games) and only takes around 30 minutes to finish a game.
So…like I said…a few things…
Wow! Those are some great Goodwill finds! Makes me want to check mine out.
I picked up a ROTS Obi-Wan figure, Star Wars Bounty Hunter, and I picked up the '95 VHS tapes mostly for A New Hope because I lost it. And since my birthday was a few days ago I got random assorted Star Wars stuff (blu-ray, some EU, and more)
Wow! Those are some great Goodwill finds! Makes me want to check mine out.
Goodwill is like a box of chocolates…You never know what you’re gonna get!
Helmet…$2.99…
Wife and crazy baby…priceless!
The last Star Wars item I bought was the 2004 DVD set back in… 2004.
The only Star Wars item I own now is a small C-3PO figure that stays in my junk drawer.
I got the remote control BB-8 for Christmas.
I’m 34 years old. Deal with it 😃
I got the Wicket W. Warrick plushy for Christmas, and I’m 32 years old. xD
I was planning to purchase the Italian edition of the book “Splinter of the Mind’s Eye” (La gemma di Kaiburr) on eBay but both the auctions have expired before I could make an offer… But I don’t give up.
The 2011 Blu-ray
The 1997 SE on Laserdisc, back in September. I’m not much one for the merchandise, but I like to have the best legitimate copy of each version of the films.
