It just occurred to me that in that image, C-3PO's eyes are Photoshopped so that he's looking down at the magazine--an act normally impossible, given the fixed expression of Tony Daniels' mask.
Kind of an unsettling realization, like peeking behind a theater curtain.
Still, it makes for a pleasing overall result.

I read an excerpt of the first book, Vector Prime, in the SW Insider magazine years and years ago when it first came out.
The thing I remember most was that Leia had contracted some disease that made her hair fall out. Somehow I suspect GL himself provided that idea--maybe a holdover from his THX 1138 days?
