God those TFNers love to play the martyr on their precious Prequels.

It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher

But my previous comment doesn't really fit in any of those threads, thus you are foiled. >=D

Nah, still doesn't fit. There was no indifference implicit in my words.

I hope someone's dumb enough to throw out their collection of Marvel Star Wars comics* so's I can retrieve it.

*The original series, of course.

Should I one day acquire the skills and tools necessary to get it done, I will fan-edit the PT into one movie -- one movie made in the same non-linear, surrealist style as David Lynch's strangest movies. I will call it Creepypuppetyodahead.

Hmm ... perhaps I should have posted this in the fan-edit forum ...

This Star Wars: Battle Pod arcade looks pretty rad. Also I like the "Prequels?... what prequels?" element of the whole enterprise ;-)

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

Vader's gloves in the first movie

were cooler than the ones he wore in the subsequent films.

I've never noticed the gloves. You're absolutely right, that is some badass stitching on the ANH gloves. Maybe they didn't like the vertical to horizontal stitching idea. It is a bit disorienting.

There really needs to be an EU Novel, maybe a series, that explains why Vader's gloves changed.

I mean, the original gloves weren't as important as his later ones but their story should be told.

The whales are definitely the best part of that cover.

I'm sure that the book is all about someone finding his discarded original gloves and using the DNA on them to clone the Imperial slaves who hand-stitched his gloves.
