SAME OLD WARBLER.

*SIGH*

I thought we had agreed to ignore each other and leave each other alone.   Please mind your own business and leave me alone.   Don't know why you decided to create a new account.  Regardless, I am putting it on my ignore list.

There's a King James' version of the Sega Genesis?

"Today's reading comes from The Book of Genesis... or as it's known outside the USA, The Book of Megadrive. As written by our prophets, Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins."

"Their nomad friend"

UGH.

*cringes*

I don't particularly like the story of the flood, or anything else in the bible for that matter (and I certainly don't believe in any of it) but I feel that it was told a lot better, and with far more artistic merit, in Testament: The Bible in Animation (made by the same studio that made Shakespeare: The Animated Tales)

Plus this uses my favourite animation method, paint on glass.

Ebay has been increasingly broken lately. I can't even get package tracking info on the stuff I bought at the moment. Unlike a certain controversial health care website, they'll never get bad press or scrutiny for their bad coding.

Ebay's slow boat ride to hell continues. It's a damn good thing the last two items I bought showed up, because my ebay page is coming up blank.

As they say in the OT, I've got a bad feeling about this.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

We got our first trick-or-treaters ever. One small thing: Halloween was yesterday. Oh, and the only piece of candy available in the house was a delicious bar of Novi Chocolate, and they took that. Brilliant.

Interesting. You_Too says Halloween has caught-on in Sweden. Is it catching-on in Italy as well?

Possibly. I would like to give you a more detailed answer but I never get out of the house. :(
Hadn't those kids been here, I would've eaten the whole bar by myself, maybe even in one go. Maybe it's for the best.

We had this boy come to the door wear a set of pulsating lungs made of little fleshy skulls.

I think it was a mistake to drain the moat.

There's a bear in my tree.

I'm not kidding.

I live pretty deep in my little city.  How the heck did he get there???

Did you happen to leave any pic-a-nic baskets outside?

ALLOL.  My wife laughed at that one too.  We were getting the kids ready for school with the abnormally loud yelling and struggling because they didn't want to go today.  Next thing we know, we get a call from the police station telling us to stay inside.  We look out the window and there are a bunch of police cars and cops in the front yard we hadn't noticed, who had probably heard our morning struggle.  They got on our next door neighbor's roof and shot a few tranquilizer darts into him.  It took several to take him down, but they spaced them out every few minutes, presumably so as not to overdose the bear.  I guess they had been chasing him since earlier in the morning, as he was reported in our neighborhood, and he ultimately took refuge in our tree.  We had to call the school to let them know why we were late (response: "Oh, you have the bear in your tree), and we just waited till he was knocked out and they put him in a cage and took him away.  They also locked down the school and wouldn't let anyone out till the bear had been shipped away.  Ironically, my sons' teacher's husband was one of the policemen who saved the day.  So I'm sure my boys and their teacher will enjoy chatting about our little adventure this morning.

Cops?  What law did the bear break?

Typical government interference in our lives...

Maybe someone pushed him out of a window.

And yet he's the one arrested.  How about getting the real criminals?
