Neither did I until I started looking at it proper.

It could be tricky as the score will need to be synched up and the line put in the right place. (I did not do this part of the fix with the score)

On top of this I added.

1 .ambient noise from previous command center scenes as it still is fully manned

2. Troops running sound past falcon that is missing (Bloody difficult, this was a challenge too not that happy with what I did but I tried)

3. Ambient noise for the Hanger

4. A feint voice response to the guy signalling to lift the droid hoist

The following command center scene does not need as much doing to it as it is largely abandoned but the people pretending to talk on the headsets could do with muffled sound lines or quiet underlying lines as it looks badly fake.

Anyway this is only observation but It needed a mockup to get all this across I think.

And regarding the bugs / spots or dots around a light source on Dagobah wether they get done or not... I don't think the Lantern is the best place for them but I think the Floodlights on the x-wing is more suitable as the lamp is quite dim and the floodlights are more bright and would attract them

Sorry folks another problem in the command center.

The line "launch Patrols"

A totally different line is mouthed a couple of seconds earlier after leia says "we have no choice" and the audio line is never actually said it is inserted audio.

Does anyone know what the line is Rieekan was actually meant to say via an unedited script???

I guess this has been there since the original theatrical release.

*edit*

He does actually say launch patrols it's just totally out of sync

Rough mock up of what I am trying to say about command center.

1st original and then repeated rough audio edits.

You're still seeing something that isn't there. "Launch patrol" is NOT out of sync. Look closely when he turns and says the line. It's clearly what he is saying. The bit where he nods & mouths something  is just an acknowledgement towards what leia has said.

Well, what I'd say to that is... he's definitely mouthing SOMEthing, and now that it's been seen, it cannot be unseen. Why would he mouth a three-syllable nothingness in response to Leia?

It makes a lot of sense to move the line to fill in his random mouthed words, which... I dunno. Maybe he misspoke or something, and they cut that part out of the audio to save the take or something, hoping that nobody would notice (which I guess worked pretty well, haha). So even if the audio isn't out-of-sync, there's definitely some kind of awkward mouth movement that looks a lot like he's talking.

Yes he is clearly saying 'Launch Patrol' as he turns round. Saying the line to Leia makes no sense in any case as she is the one giving him orders. It does seem that he saying something to the effect of "Yes sir". Maybe he's saying "Waldorf Salad"? ;-)

EDIT: Actually looking at it again, I don't think he is saying anything he's just doing that pre speech jaw thing...

I have to agree with Adywan. The first time he opens his mouth is just to catch breath like if he is about to give several orders or thinking what he has to say.

Its simply acting. Not everytime someone opens his mouth is to speak.

No probs... I spotted it and there are a couple of others like this so I raised a flag on it.

At the end of the day i don't have a major issue about it... But I thought it was a bit odd.

If he did say something at that point... It was cut what ever it was.

???? I don't have an answer for it

Dub in a Lando line there.

Make the most of his dialogue while he's still alive.

That would be suicide..

Without being 100% sure I checked the scene at 80% playback speed.

And If I had to call the missing word I'd say it was "understood"

but that is my best guess. I say this because of C3-PO body language and no other reason.

I agree that he says Launch Patrol as he is turning

Anyway moving on.

Maybe he's saying "Waldorf Salad"? ;-)

"I'm not paying you to keep some bit of skirt hanging around"

Thanks for the revelation I never put Rieekan in Fawlty towers until now. It's the hair.

It's funny, I re-watched Full Metal Jacket yesterday and he's in it

The rubbish explosion and the ship aren't even connecting in that picture.

I think 19KM or thereabouts is a good working size.

It only really becomes an issue for ROTJ:R, the scale of ships and their positions in frame are frequently off in the other versions.

I don't know if this has been brought up before, Adywan, but I was reading from your wordpress site about your consideration of Padme's death potentially conflicting with Leia's memories of her mother, and I don't think there is a conflict. Most adoptees think of their adoptive parents as their real parents, and it is from Queen Breha Organa than Leia gets her Princess-ness... in other words, Breha is the mother in her memories.

I'm not sure what Queen Breha's fate is posed as within the expanse of continuity, but it is entirely possible she died while Leia was young somehow. Is there any reason to suspect Leia wasn't referring to Queen Breha when she spoke of her mother?

Anyway, I just created this account to post this, so I won't be replying to comments. But I thought it might save you some work, and also avoid closing off a whole plot arc involving Leia and Breha; her childhood on Alderaan has always interested me (not that your work would explore Leia/Breha stories, but I think we all like to make continuity forward compatible ;) ).

@Bingowings

well I had the impression that the Executor would be about 10x the size of an standard Stardestroyer, bringing it to somewhat 16km

but in the end it just needs to be "huge" ;-)

as for the "Leia's mother / Padme"-Paradox: it all stands and falls with Luke's question "do you remember your <real> mother?"

if one would cut that out, it just states as to why her foster-mother was sad => because she knew what happened to her <real> mother ...

Is English your first language? Do you know what "die" means?

Are you just an asshole?  This is not a personal attack, it's just an honest question.
