220 days ago on a.b.sw.  Which should be the same as tehparadox version, AvP mentioned a few posts ago.  So since there are a set of PARs there, if you start downloading them, if might fix the incomplete RARs you've already downloaded.

That is where I downloaded it from, and all of the PARs.  However, it came up with RAR 9 incomplete.  There is no PAR for that one.  All I got was a MDS file that was 0k in size.  Maybe I am doing something wrong, but could not get it to work.

You'll have to explain a bit more about your procedures.  The PARs should work on all the files, not sure what you mean by "RAR 9 incomplete, there is no PAR for that one."  If your news provider doesn't have great retention, then maybe the downloaded RARs/PARs are not complete enough to regenerate the files.  If this is the case, the PAR program will tell you how many blocks you are missing.  What PAR program are you using?  Also have you tried redownloading the segments (9) which are very incomplete?  Also check tehparadox version, should be the same RARs.

I use binreader for mac.  It downloads, opens rars, and fixes with pars automatically.  The tehparadox is linked to the same place I got it from  Part 09.rar is incomplete it said on download.

Ok so this DVD did get made, by me. Unfortunately my 'client' wanted some time to be able to ship these around to the big collectors before the rest of us could get our hands on them.

If you have a search around on google, it seems as though someone has uploaded it.

One of my favorite collections... Great work DJ.  Any chance of a V2 Release?  I may have some upgraded quality recordings of a few ads.  I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Also, anyone have the link to the original disc and case artwork?  Also, was there an DVD insert?

I have no plans for an update.

There wasn't an insert. As for case artwork, I'll see what I can dig up.

Seems like there were a bunch of others from the same time period:

Meccano to Tri-Logo by Stephane Faucort
Irwin Toys: The Canadian Star Wars Connection by James McCallum
Kenner Star Wars Commercials DVD by Chris Georgoulias
The Vintage Glasslite Commercial Collection DVD by Shane Turgeon

I was able to get my hands on the Kenner DVD at the time, luckily due to some people I knew that were more connected in the collecting hobby than I was. I found the quality to be superb on most of the commercials, and I still watch the DVD any time I get the itch to travel back in time. It’s a treasure.

However, I have never seen hide nor hair of any of the foreign commercial collection DVDs. Have these been shared anywhere? They deserve to have as widespread a release as the Kenner one.
