Sorry for the delay. The film transfer and encoding is done, along with the "about the restoration" short. Got hung up on the extra and the menu, and sidetracked by the end of the semester. The project will definitely be released before Dec. 31.

Ok, I've finished the disk, and will be running it through its paces tomorrow to verify that it's ok. Then I'll do my usual trading with the first wave of people who have helped out and/or expressed the most constant interest. Hopefully it will make its way onto the "various internets" thereafter.
So let me know if you wish to be included. I already have a few people on my automatic recipients' list. And there are a few tidbits I'm interested in and haven't yet had the pleasure of seein' if you're willing to trade.

Yeah, it's a pretty funny retitling.
As a Swede I was never that fond of the title "STJÄRNORNAS KRIG" (Stars War) it should have been "STJÄRN KRIGEN" (Star Wars) if they had to make a swedish title at all. Additional info, ESB in Sweden "RymdImperiet Slår Tillbaka" is translated as The Space-Empire Strikes Back. At least we don't dub our films. ;)

Sorry, I guess I am finding this more amusing than it actually is. Puggo, great to hear this is done, can't wait to see it!
No, Space-Empire is not used one single time within the films. It's a damn stupid title. :) We mostly don't see these kinds of stupid retitlings of foreign films nowadays. When I think about it, RymdImperiet could be translated as the Galactic Empire, but the swedish word "rymd" is translated space, we already have a word for galactic which is galaktisk, so it's stupid anyway, so if they must bother why not "Det Galaktiska Imperiet Slår Tillbaka" (The Galactic Empire Strikes Back).

On the DVD, Star Wars is divided into three tracks, one for each reel. Each reel has a few seconds at the front and back. When I add these up, should I include the extra few seconds on the ends of each track?
