The Dirt Bike Kid--wasn't Ralphie in that? I think I saw that once.

Anyway, my Rad DVD hasn't been posted yet. I should start posting it by this weekend. I will let everyone know.

By the way, I've responded to all PM's, but I think some people may not have their PM's turned on.

Yes, the DirtBike Kid had Peter Billingsley in it. I rented it once because of the preview before Rad. It wasn't a good movie from what I remember.

Perhaps someone could torrent Starkiller's version after picking it up off of Usenet?

It would be most appreciated.

Is anyone set on making a DVD version of this? If so, please let me know. Thanks!

Starkiller is upping it now to usenet

Yes, it's finally complete and currently being posted to a.b.dvd. However, at 6.2 GB including PAR2's it's going to take 2 or 3 days with my modest upload speed. I'll let everyone know when it's finished and provide an NZB at that point.

I've also decided to go ahead with a single layer version--mainly because I don't have a DL burner. If there is interest in that, it will get posted as well.

Oh really? And here I am on newegg trying to find a DL burner for no other reason than to put Rad on it (although I'm sure it'll serve me well in the future). How much would it hurt the qualtity and how long do you think it would take?

I already watched the sample and it looks really good. Thankfully I went out and bought some DL DVD+R's

I bought a NEC DL burner off newegg for about $36 a few months ago and love it.

I guess that's a good reason to upgrade!

At the time I started, I did have a DL burner, or at least access to one. But I don't at this time. The SL version will not take long at all. I already have a SL sized MPEG2 file ready to import into DVD-Lab Pro. I'll just throw some static menus on there and be done with it. I should be able to get it posted soon after the DL is finished. As for quality, I think the difference will be negligible, at least on my low end TV. There may be a difference on a higher end monitor though.

Oh yes, it's a good reason to upgrade. From what I've seen in the preview, the menu movie, and the screen caps, it looks like it'll be truly epic. Thanks in advance.

Cool. I didn't know if you needed to do something more drastic like bump the audio down from 5.1 to 2.0 to make it fit.

Nope all I listed in the thread was info about the original HD .TS files that were uploaded to usenet along time ago (not by me) and was willing to mail out the dvd's that contained the original rar and par files.

HD = High Definition
HDTV format .ts (transport stream) files

I would up this using BT but my upload speed is extremely slow.
I am sending the Dual Layer DVD PIF (Pass It Forward or Pay it Forward) to another user on here (mk1277) and maybe he could do the same for you.

Can someone post it on Piratebay or Demonoid??? I will try to get from a.b.dvdr tonight, but I fear that my ISP's newsgroup retention sux bigtime, and that the file will be gone. Please advise. If someone would be willing to pay-it-forward/pass-it-forward, as I upload to several torrent sites (ie: Dididave.com, ILoveTorrents.com, Demonoid.com, Piratebay.com, TorrentPortal.com & TorrentSpy.com), and will get this release out there.
