I love the Indy releases - keep 'em coming. The Making of TOD in particular was a fantastic release full of nice little rarities.

Has anyone compared Rikter's DVD transfers to your transfers, quality-wise? I had Rikter's two Raiders making-ofs already, and I haven't seen your versions yet.

I never downloaded Rikter's so i have no idea what his quality is like. Keep in mind that one of the Raiders discs has a bonus featurette that's not on Rikters.

All I have is a Myspleen torrent file which is at 0%. Can someone send me an alternate torrent file that I can actually start downloading? Does anyone have the capability to seed it again?

Got DF001 and DF002 in my torrent queue right now - one is coming down fast, and the other is dead. But hopefully I'll have at least one to look at before long, to try to compare with Rikter's.

I had to delete DF003 from my hard drive after I burned it due to having less than 10 GB left. I can't seed more than one or two releases at a time right now (usually the ones I'm downloading) until I get a new hard drive, I'm afraid.

I downloaded Rikter's version of the Making of Raiders when it was first uploaded to myspleen, however I have no idea where I put the disc. I recall being rather disappointed with the video quality. Meanwhile, this version looks just fine.

tb1971: when i get back to work tomorrow i can seed using myspleen torrent - but there is a catch, i can only seed while on work. so you get solid 8-10 hours each day. please be patience with it. leave message on this thread on your progress, that way others who might need it can start downloading.

Yeah, DFNYC's was "better", but remember that Rikter's copy came from a source using older equipment...it was state of the art in 2000

Enh. Not really. My DVD recorder isn't much newer than that and it's what I used to make it.

has anyone ever captured the mini documentaries commentaries on the thx tape releases?

it has spileberg talking about indy 4, harrison ford and lucas as well.

I know it's been a while but I've been working on some side projects. I just completed two "demo discs" for the HD DVD players that are out. If you don't have one, I definitely suggest going to pick one up. I will be listing them on my main page because they are now completed and contain about 30 trailers all in HD. They are about to be torrented.

Otherwise, I'm going to begin work on some other projects very shortly.

I will be retiring the Making of Superman 1-3 in November when the boxed set comes out.

Please get them now from the usual place if you're interested as I will be deleting the torrents at that time.

TB, I'm thinking of re-working my "bonus disc" for the BR set that I retired. I would include all the additional footage that I had mentioned to you.

In other news, the Criterion edition of Dracula is up next. I've taken some time off from these boards for a while because I've been concentrating on HD stuff. I'll let you all know what happens.

And I'm still interested in doing Young Indy stuff as well.

digitalfreaknyc, I'm glad to hear you're back with re-edit of BR bonus disc. The footage you've mentioned is of great historical value and well worth trouble of preserving it. If you need any help let me know. Good luck with your projects!

I have a lot of those Harrison Ford interviews and whatknot from the Blade Runner press junkets in 82. The quality is kinda crappy but definitely watchable. Plus I know I have stuff from the re-release in the 90's from MTV and CNN and others.

OH and btw...if anyone is looking to design inserts/artwork for the Jaws discs that I'm doing now, that'd be great. I'd like to torrent them with the discs.

I'm almost done with the first one so please contact me if you're interested.

That looks great.

I'm actually titling this one Jaws Archives: Volume 1, since there will be (at least) 3 volumes of this right now. Any chance you might be able to amend it?

I also put all the deleted scenes from Jaws The Revenge on the disc to pad it out. You might want to add that on as a "bonus feature." I did want to use the original artwork from the Emmy screener DVD as I liked it but I'm open to other interpretations.

sounds like a nice bonus discs trilogy.

But I am not a big fan of the artwork from the screener dvd so I prefer to work with pictures from the movies. Maybe someone else will like to use it for a different cover.

I will come back in a few days with tentative cover for the 3 discs.

As soon as 1 person gets back to me with artwork for this disc, I can start seeding it. The others will take longer.
