It’s still up on the Spleen as far as I’m aware. Outside of that, I don’t personally know of anywhere else it’s currently available.
Is it still the case this is only available on Speen? I’d love to snag a copy. If someone could link me to a source, I’d appreciate it.

I think a lot of us who were here when he was banned would like to have seen him stay, but Admins determined he had broken very specific rules (selling DVDr copies of his fan edits, I believe, was the main crime) that meant his permanent banning. Very unfortunate, but there was nothing to be done. Many of us still do think of him favorably, and even support some of his projects outside of OT.com. He is definitely still active.
I certainly wouldn’t mind asking him back, if it were possible - it’s been 20 years now, and DVDr copies are kind of a moot point now - but that decision is not up to me.

He was selling DVDs of other people’s projects as well. The rules against selling were very clear back then. And he didn’t exactly leave graciously (there’s a whole thread about that on this board somewhere).
That being said, it was 20 years ago and I wouldn’t object to him coming back either. Then again, I’m no longer a mod here and don’t make decisions like that anymore.

There are plenty of people I’d welcome back. Enough time has passed. What once seemed like a big deal is hardly enough reason to keep people away forever (especially anybody who ended up banned over the infamous “Politics” thread).
Nobody said or did anything terrible enough to me personally that I’d mind their coming back if they wanted. Just a few were particularly nasty to some of the mods, so probably not them unless the mods approved (I’m sure they could rattle off a list of names who are a definite “no”).

I’m curious if anyone would be working on a new higher quality edit of the special now that all the commercials have been restored by Garrett? There’s some from every broadcast we have currently so lots of channel variations could be created. I made a separate thread a while back documenting everything known:
