I havs a suggestion for you: can you remove Obi-Wan’s cringeworthy “Hello there!” line in your edit?
But that’s one of the best lines. 😜

I had initially remove that line, but reinstated it for what I think was V2. It’s kind of funny, though could arguably fall under the category of pointless original trilogy references.
At least that one kind of seems congruent with its referent, unlike Anakin saying “this is where the fun begins.“

With the rise of prequel memes, it has made me more reluctant to want to remove some of the more cheesy lines because now people like/expect those moments almost.

Yeah, fan edits like these are best viewed from an alternate dimension in which they are what was published all along, like any cut of a film.

In a week if I still haven’t received them I will proceed to render out a very watchable version to serve until I can put out V6 proper. It’ll have everything, all audio and subtitles and stuff, except those two or three shots.

That is a very ambitious change to make in a fan edit. I personally wouldn’t change anything about that in my edit of Episode III, but I am very curious to see how it appears in your new version of Labyrinth of Evil.

I’m pleased to report that our very own Sir Ridley and snooker have just provided me with the final three FX shots, enabling me now to commence an encode of a release candidate.
That takes considerable time, and my life is hectic right now, but it shouldn’t be longer than 2 weeks at the absolute most for this to be fully distributed, still well ahead of time for any pre-IX viewings.
Gift baskets or other accolades should be directed to Sir Ridley and snooker’s (separate?) dressing rooms.

The unfortunate reality of the Star Wars prequel and Disney trilogies is that they will always be around. Forever. They will never go away. It can never be undone.

Awesome! I assume this version will include the music fix to the Obi Wan/Padme conversation post order 66? Anakin’s Dark Deeds is my favorite track, ever since I saw your preview on fixing it I’ve been pretty excited.

I’m not sure. I don’t want to sacrifice even more of my 1 TB of Google Drive space that I use for all of my personal stuff also, and any versions other than the 1080p somebody could create for themselves anyway. And if I’m going to include those two versions, and additional 6 GB or so for the other two isn’t a big deal. I’ll probably include the whole shebang.

I know it’s probably too late to make any changes but have you considered restoring the “I am the Senate!” line? I just watched LOE last night and it was one of the few things I missed from the original movie.

Nah, he should skip straight from Mace’s pre-Palpatine’s-“I am the Senate!”-line dialogue to Palpatine saying “It’s treason, then”.
