^ very well done mate. Love the rearrangement of images for the back covers and the long vertical image on each of the left sides too - they look great.

Thanks, but I can’t take credit for the arrangement; as I mentioned earlier on the thread, it’s based on the French '95 Laserdiscs which, as ChainsawAsh said, has more breathing room, and isn’t a hot mess of pictures and words competing for space.

Using calculon559 template, I created a Rogue One Faces blu ray cover, but his was better, so I deleted mine. I sent him an idea for The Phantom Menace, I hope he can make it work.

I think this is an interesting concept and it works with the idea of Rouge One being a slight prequel to Star Wars or A New Hope. I also just love the design of the faces because it is pleasing to my eye.

Not sure which was harder; trying to fit the credit block onto the cover in a way that was readable or trying to write a blurb in a similar style to the other “Faces” covers. Anyway, here’s Rogue One.

Quick corrections: the director is Gareth Edwards, not Gareth Williams, and in the blurb it should say “retro,” not “retraux.”

Other than that, it looks great!

Ok, no idea how I got Gareth Williams from Gareth Edwards, other than to say I think I knew someone with that name. Still, that’s no excuse. And while “retraux” was intentional (it’s a portmanteau of retro and faux), I’ve decided to change it since it’s clearly not a word everyone knows and would just confuse everyone. I’m sure there’s a better way to word that, but my linguistic skills are down the crapper at the minute.

And now, by request, The Phantom Menace. Jedit: Minor fix on the cover. Let me know if I missed anything else.

Looks good, but I’d personally get rid of the trailing lines on the P and M on the spine and keep it looking like the front cover logo.

I would also do a version without “Widescreen Edition” since the majority of movies only come in widescreen now. Covers look great though!

This is the way.

Calculon I’d love to make a set from your 95 cases. I sent you a pm, im in the uk and only use 14mm spines.

Heres the best set I have built so far. Box is made from hobby board glued and taped together. Slipcover is on 240gsm paper if i recall. Verbatim 50gb printable discs. Recreated trading cards from the 70’s run using thick card stock. Recreated mini comic books using 150gsm matt photo paper. But I really love your stuff and Its inspired me to make another like it. Great work!

Took a stab at making a set of Blu-ray slipcovers for all eight saga films. I decided to use the sequel trilogy title aesthetic (Serif Gothic) to have a consistent look on the spines, while using the original title treatments and teaser poster artwork on the cover. I haven’t gotten around to designing a back cover yet, but here’s what I’ve got so far:

Star Wars Blu-ray

Empire Blu-ray

Jedi Blu-ray

Phantom Menace Blu-ray

Clones Blu-ray

Sith Blu-ray

Force Awakens Blu-ray

Last Jedi Blu-ray

Blu-ray Spines

By any chance, has this been completed?

I have covers for the original trilogy finished and plan on posting them soon! I’m actually making some custom Blu-ray sets for a few friends for Christmas and don’t want to upload the covers before I’ve actually delivered the gifts, but shortly after Christmas I’ll upload them here 😃

Hey guys, some really awesome stuff here! Fair play to all those putting the hours in to create all this artwork. I personally really like these posted below but cant seem to find the files anywhere…

Anyone got any ideas where to find them? Have had a good look through this thread but cant see them.

Happy Holidays! For Christmas this year, I gave custom Blu-ray sets of the Original Trilogy as gifts and decided to design some box art for the project. Here are the results:

Slipcovers Back

Cases

And here are the designs themselves (For the gifts, I hid some Easter eggs in the barcodes which I’ve not preserved here). If anyone wants editable PSD files to be able to adjust the features list or whathaveyou, shoot me a PM.

Okay, last one for a while probably - alternate TLJ with the Dolby Cinema poster on front. I don’t know who did the logo removal on the source I used, but it wasn’t me. It had a prequel-style “Episode VIII” logo on it that I cropped out.

Here’s a textless version of that poster I made using the highest quality sources I could find:

Low Quality

Hey look, a whole year later and I finally got around to using this - AND my preferred fan-designed logo, thanks to natedeug’s much more patient work in cleaning it up!

Here’s my preferred version (with the aforementioned logo and the Dolby poster - thanks again to Neverar for his excellent work in removing the logos on the poster!):

And here’s the official one-sheet with the new logo:

The “saga spine” variants are finished too, I just haven’t uploaded them yet. I’ll probably reupload all of these covers in all variants in a big album in the next few days so they’re all in one spot again. And maybe make a thread specifically for mine. I dunno yet.

Still gotta make a cover for Solo, too…

Have you gotten around yet to tackling a Solo cover to match your series? Great work, btw!

I was most of the way through it and Photoshop crashed on me and I lost it, so I have to start over. Just haven’t had the motivation yet. I’ll get around to it soon, promise.

And thanks, glad people like them! 😄

I would absolutely love to see a cover set based on the recent Star Wars Celebration Mural.

I’m sure as soon as there are high res versions of it, there will be

Funny enough, I’m working on a set of covers.
