Hey, which one sucks the least: 1, 2, 3, or 4? I’m thinking 3 or 4.

I am going to say 2 looks the best , I would recommend 3 books to seek out 1. How to draw comics the Marvel way by Stan Lee and John Buscema 2. Constructive anatomy by George Bridgman 3.Dynamic anatomy by Burne Hogarth . All three are excellent for teaching you to break down figures and heads into their basic components and simple shapes that will give you a good foundation to build on .These books helped me improve by leaps and bounds when I was learning to draw .Study and copy them and you will improve quickly .

I’ve got a few doodles I drew when I was bored in lectures over the past year or so. You might recognize the first one.

Spock

A few days ago I started watching the original show again, and found my original doodle looked a bit more like an older Spock. I can’t quite figure out how to draw Kirk.

New Spock with Kirk

Some more doodles of dubious quality:

Groovy Dude

Not a crook

Grumpy Teacher

Golly Gee Willikers

Barkeep

Elizabethan

Joker

Spooky

Stupid Cat

Dubious Groucho

Clown

Batman

Chimp

Bowling Alley Man

I made something.

“Get over violence, madness and death? What else is there?”

Also known as Mr. Liquid Jungle.

Judging by the size and placement of that mushroom, she’s still Bowser where it counts.

Tried drawing William Hartnell as the first ‘Doctor Who’ from memory. My pencil was pretty dull, so I wasn’t really able to draw too many details, but I’m quite pleased with it.

Thanks! I’m thinking of making a digital version from it (after a few alterations… I’ve found the hair is wrong and I don’t like the shoulders).

Very cool to find out that your avatar is your own work.
Makes me feel like a chump… I should get back to work.
*Ray now nervously awaits the expected non-response from someone he admires…

Thanks, and good luck on yours. And if you mean to say I’m the someone who’s admired, haha, I appreciate the sentiment, but I’m not worthy of admiration, really.
