Shame about Mute, I really like Duncan Jones and I was hoping that this one would be good. Damn.
Napoleon Dynamite is objectively great. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get my dead cat’s poopoo out of their head. 😉
I understand that many people don’t like Nacho Libre, but I think it’s nearly as good.

SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.

I find Nacho Libre laborious to get through.
Napoelon Dynamite is a gem.

I have not seen it yet. ( my wi-fi is not set up yet) is it really bad? I heard good things on twitter.

Also known as Mr. Liquid Jungle.
Which FF movie is that?
Where were you in '77?

The best one … which isn’t saying much.
I’m shocked that anyone has watched Nacho Libre since it was in theaters. I didn’t realize anyone remembered it.
The Person in Question
I never watched it. If Jack Black’s in it, and it ain’t The Cable Guy, I assume it’s bad and avoid it.

Have you seen School of Rock?
Not enough people read the EU.

No.
It’s really not an abomination.

It’s been years since I recall seeing it but I think I liked it much more than Nacho Libre.

This was my thought about RV when I saw it mentioned here.

No.
It’s genuinely good. It’s like Dead Poets Society but without the tragedy and with Jack Black.
Yeah, School of Rock is solid. Also High Fidelity, but he’s also not the lead in that one.

Speaking as a Latino, I and many of my friends and family find it hilarious. Same goes for Casa de mi Padre.

It was on TV at the time.

There are a lot of channels on TV.
I didn’t feel like changing it because I saw Robin Williams and I miss him. That, and I wasn’t the family member with the remote.

Apology accepted.

High Fidelity is really great.
Annihilation (2017)
8/10
I went into this movie knowing almost nothing. In fact, when i saw the trailer i remember thinking it seemed like a ‘bad’ sci-fi movie. But then i heard of the reviews calling it fresh and new, and i decided i wanted to know for myself before reading anything else about it.
It is one of those movies that keeps you in the dark, only learning information at the same rate that the protagonist does. As the movie unfolds, careful viewers can start to piece together things, but that still doesn’t detract from the overall experience of watching it. I really enjoyed my time in the theater (but i also don’t go much anymore apart from Star Wars movies, so that is part of it as well).
A few horror scenes mixed in for good measure. The Entire cast was excellent. And it had a double star wars cast, Natalie Portman and Oscar Isaac. And it was fun to see Gina Rodriguez in something other than Jane the Virgin.
Is that the Netflix movie that isn’t on Netflix?
