Frink is correct. I said unexpected because I’m not a big fan of the film. There are a few parts that I think are really well done though and I give them a look occasionally.

Another is when Luke is hanging under Cloud City. To me, that’s one of the most beautiful scenes in the franchise, visually as well as story.

I asked this awhile back, but I just wanna be clear-
Does the second song the Modal Nodes (cantina band) play have no in-universe title?
The first song is called Mad About Me, but what about the second track, the one the patrons of the bar seem to love? It’s just labeled as Cantina Band #2 on the soundtracks.
Surely this isn’t the one thing the EU has no info on, right?

I always really liked the ‘7-G Lounge’ music; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv9U3lkSKJA&t=47s

It was featured in the TPM PS1 game, which is kind of a bad game (with some exceptions), but when I was seven years old I thought it was pretty awesome.

I assume you mean this guy?

Yeah, it was pretty weird. However I quickly figured out how to ‘cheat’ to kill it so I guess I never saw it as being that scary. Funnily, I did however find the hobos on Coruscant to be pretty scary. I don’t really know why, they were just kinda creepy and that whole level really messed with my head as a kid for some reason.

The two Tatooine levels were so much fun, and I pretty much discovered every little secret and glitch that was available in those two levels. And since the game allowed you to kill NPC’s, and since I’d found pretty much everything that could be found, I made it my task to kill every NPC in those levels. And, after several days of hard work and practice, I actually succeeded. (I had way too much time on my hand when I was a kid).

Oh jeez just look at it go. Back when people weren’t really sure what 3D graphics, cameras or good controls were for. Then again I miss old movie tie-ins where they shoved in loads of weird side quests instead of just making an action game. I guess Lego TFA was the last attempt?

Is there going to be a TLJ game?

Cool. Thanks.
Lame title though. I was hoping that it, like the other track, would have a name not connected with Star Wars at all.

I don’t think so, unfortunately. GoldenEye is a classic, for example.

I think those days are over, it’s all cellphone junk now.

A Lego game is a possibility, not sure though as the movie wasn’t as kid friendly as TFA, kinda like R1.

No. They used to make games to go along with movies. Now they make movies to go along with games.

Cute, but the truth is in general I don’t think people put much stock into licensed games anymore.

Here’s a nice essay about stories of good vs evil. It makes a few points about Star Wars.

https://aeon.co/essays/why-is-pop-culture-obsessed-with-battles-between-good-and-evil

I wonder if the big good vs evil theme in Star Wars has an effect on the fan base and how we deal with opposing viewpoints. I guess the whole “you don’t agree with me so you are on the other team”-mentality is widespread in today’s society with or without Star Wars, though.

I’ve decided to take Solo off my anti-watchlist. So long as it isn’t too much of an origin story — going in-depth into Han’s background, showing his first encounter with Chewie, etc. — I may see it.

I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what it is, but we’ll see. I will see it.
