You cannot mention the last movie you saw. You cannot bring up a movie that is now three movies old to you. You may only discuss the movie you saw immediately before the last movie you saw. No exceptions! Violators will be swiftly reported!

I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark. I know I brought this up in another thread, but I will play by my own rules. What a fantastic movie! I love the sequence of events, from the recovery of the Ark to the escape from the cave to the blowing up of the flying wing to the truck chase! That whole section always makes me happy!

So how do you plan on policing this?

I saw IT in a drive-in.

I don’t watch many horror movies, so I’m sure other people would have issues with the spastic scares, but I thought it was quite good, and played more like a well-made drama than a horror movie.

I would talk about that movie, but I can’t based on thread rules.

Instead I’ll say I saw Atomic Blonde, a film that is basically the definition of “all style, no substance.”

This is no time for silly questions! 😠

The fact that you can’t answer it proves that it is in fact the opposite of a silly question.

Oh, well, if you must know, I happen to have a former Fo, now friend (who shall remain nameless), who is very strict about sticking to the OP’s rules. He has programmed the Brain Wave/Internet Post Dissonance Detector (patent pending), a brilliant bit of software that can detect when your post matches what your brain knows. He has uploaded it secretly into the forum code and notifies me every time someone violates the rules of my threads.

Don’t you wish you had such an ally?

I watched Temple of Doom. It has been at least three years, and for some reason, I enjoyed it more this time than even the last. Yes, the racially insensitive stuff is unneeded, but still, it’s a great movie.

Man, I love the ending!

Two movies ago. Duh! I can’t tell you yet what I watched last night.

SWIFTLY REPORTED!

Too bad you don’t have the influence with Jay that I do. We’re tight. He listens to me. He knows I would never violate the rules. He just had me over for dinner the other night.

So I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade two movies ago. I think I see its weaknesses more as an adult than I did as a child. That said, it’s still a joyride! Too bad I still don’t get to watch movies very closely due to my busy schedule, but it’s fun having in the background.

Wonder Woman (2017)*

*I walked back into my house and caught part of a weird movie that the TV happened to be on, so I’m counting Wonder Woman as penultimate even if I haven’t watched a complete movie since.

Perhaps it’s “pen” but it can’t be “ultimate” in that case.
