Hmmm, I was forgetting that the 2 ‘control room’ shots were probably already being included in the earlier ‘weapon charging’ sequence…and agree that it’s not ideal to re-use them in EXACTLY the same way for this later ‘firing’ sequence, as it will be too noticeable.
NeverarGreat, Just throwing this out there - would REVERSING the 2 shots in this later sequence take the edge off the duplication? - so that your music would be the SAME in the background, except we’d see the female operater shot FIRST this time (‘reversed’ to turn towards her monitor in this instance), BEFORE we then see the male operator, just before the weapon fires.
Alternatively, if that doesn’t work out, what about using a DIFFERENT combination of shots for this instead? - perhaps just re-using the first male operator shot as it is, followed by then cutting to the ENDING of that short ‘Hux’ clip you just posted above (where we don’t see him), might work together to give the feel of a slightly different ‘control room’ moment at this point. (the ‘Hux’ footage would have to be given a ‘reddish’ tint to tie-in with the male operator shot, of course)
