I’ve heard plenty of people say that.
Yeah I have too, but I think it’s still the minority.

I’ve got a sour stomach. Pity me, guys.
And I’m probably in the minority, but I think The Godfather Part II is actually better than the original.

I love both, but I think the first one is better.

And I thought foreign Star Wars posters were weird!
JEDIT:As the original source doesn’t like hotlinking it seems.
Where were you in '77?
Wow, now I feel like I haven’t even seen that movie.
The Bible has words that Christ wrote, evil men sacrifice goats
I speak all my life under oath
Since a kid, troublesome
Thrownin’ shit at little girls jump ropes
Bustin’ B-B Guns at stray cats, that was way back
Watched it die, covered in flies
Then I picked up a stick, try to dig in it’s eyes
Makin’ dirt pies, na, being buggy-eyed shit
And every other n***a that rap, sound like my shit
I wear chrome 45’s with ice on the grip
I don’t shoot it, I roll with killers and criminals
With heroin habits they picked up from the penile
They let you have it, all I do is give them a smile
Lifestlyes of the realest, you ain’t ruthless you bitch
I got a pine box just your size, I know it’ll fit
Your whole life’s a mistake, stop holdin’ the pen
Kill yourself, come back as a man over again
Cause in this lifetime I’m reignin’, slay men
Leave your whole body cold
Your nails grow long, you get gray skin
May this n***a rest in peace, Amen
I run with brave men, straight out the housin’, we wildin’
Names engraved in the pavement
Brick building, grown ladies jump off the roof
N***a get paged, then murdered at the phonebooth
New York streets made me n***a, it’s crazy n***a
Was supposed to go to school today, but it seems like bad weather’s cancelled it. Ho hum.
I wish I was immortal. Not because I want to necessarily want to live forever, I just want to experience history. There’s so much that happened from the 19th century to the 21st, and I’ll only ever be able to give it a cursory glance in a history book, or in a 20 minute video on the evolution of music. There’s only so much you can learn when viewing things from above. There are things that will happen in my lifetime that may seem inconsequential, but will have an effect on history that I’ll never be able to experience. I can only sit here and wonder what the future will be like, never knowing what kind of secrets of the universe we as a species are able to uncover.
Ironically, if I were immortal, I’d probably be terribly bored and wishing I wasn’t.

I always have found the question of being immortal fascinating. Because the thought of having to live forever with no end sounds somewhat terrifying and the thought of resting for eternity kind of sounds fitting. But when we are all on our death beds we most likely would always want more time (depending on your state of living). But as stated earlier, fascinating topic to discuss.
Immortality was the subject of the very first epic, so the fascination has been with us a long time.
My thoughts on the subject are that nobody could physically live forever because of the heat death of the universe, and in a larger sense, if someone began living, they would naturally need to end. But nobody really begins to live, since we are all part of the environment, animated bits of matter if you will. If we are things, then things can only live until the thing in question breaks down. But I don’t think we are things. These bodies give our lives meaning, a meaning that is only available through experience, but they are not who we really are. We are nothing. We came from nothing, we will return to nothing, no thing will survive. And this is good. Nothingness is existence, the self, that which is, life itself. All else is false, an illusion we experience to know what it means to die, and to know how such death is ultimately false.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

It helps to have a hobby if you’re immortal. 😉

There’s nothing in the rules that states I can’t post lyrics featuring racial slurs. Just that I can’t call anyone racial slurs.
But ignore me; I’ve just been listening to a lot of fucking Rap lately.

The bolding of the word ‘song’ makes me think he’s calling into question whether rap is real music, rather than criticizing the lyrical content.

Can’t it be both? Can’t both be going on at the same time…?

Nope, not possible.

Opinions aside I feel as though I am entitled to express my love for Rap in whatever way I choose. Rappers using the N-word just comes with the territory and the context in which it was used wasn’t even offensive. I don’t really see the problem.
I don’t see anybody being offended…
