There’s two kinds of people here - people I can identify by their avatar, and people whose avatar I ignore because it’s constantly changing.
When someone in the first category changes their avatar, it really messes with me.

Five-to-seven seasons is the longest any TV series should run. Eight-to-ten is pushing things a little too far. Eleven and up? That’s when you know zombification has set in.
What about Doctor Who?
Never watched any original Doctor Who, and all that material is precisely why I’m reluctant to try.
I prefer the original show to what’s happening with it now, there’s something in there for everyone. I’d recommend either The Aztecs or The War Games to get a glimpse at the show in its original form, and The Tomb of the Cybermen for the second incarnation. The third kicks off strong with Spearhead from Space, and I’d also recommend The Green Death. The Ark in Space or City of Death (written by none other than Douglas Adams!) for the fourth and most popular, but beyond that you go into the 80s, of which I’d say The Visitation is the only one I could recommend you.
Yeah, I see what you’re getting at. But it’s really great stuff some of the time, each of the stories I recommended are very different from the rest, so you’re bound to like at least one of them.
You do realize that “Spearhead from Space” comes right after "War Games’ right? You basically said that the show switches from it’s original form to its 2nd incarnation, back to its original form, and then to its third. ???

Huh? No, by “original form” I meant the show as it was under William Hartnell, then I said second incarnation, then third, and so on.
Oh, I actually meant The War Machines, not The War Games, whoops!
I started the old show with The Ark in Space and it’s still my favorite. I’ve jumped back and forth quite a bit since then, but mostly I’m trying to get as many Tom Baker DVDs as I can in order (given that so many discs are OOP in region 1).
.
Have any of you seen the animated Dr Who reconstructed episodes? It’s incredible how they were able to recreate some of those lost episodes. I started watching Dr Who from the beginning, in order to really get a sense of what it was like when it first started. I am currently watching Season 2 - Serial 5 “Web Planet”. Sadly, a lot of season 3 Dr. Who was lost.
I was unfortunately introduced to the original Doctor Who with The Ribos Operation, which I found rather boring, but I luckily decided to watch The Ark in Space afterwards and I was hooked. Tom Baker is definitely my favourite incarnation of the character.

SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.
I’m sorry, is this the Doctor Who thread?
Yes.

ah. Now it makes sense.
I was introduced to Dr. Who, during the Colin Baker period. I never followed the story perfectly, but always loved to watch Dr. Who. I was happy when BBC brought back Dr. Who in 2005. There are a lot of characters and alien races they can references, from the 50+ years of Dr. Who.
Fingers crossed that Series 10 doesn’t suck. Capaldi deserves better than what he’s gotten for te last few years, and it’s a real shame he’s leaving when Moffatt does.
.
We can only hope, atleast we only have 6 weeks until it airs. I think Capaldi has done a good job with the Dr. Isn’t this Capaldi’s last year?
What?..Who?
Why?
I’m sorry, is this the Doctor Who thread?
Yes.
Sigh.
The annoying thing is that we actually have a Dr. Who thread that I can safely ignore.
Is there a way to port a wii game to wii u and edit it?

Thanks for the heads up.
Shin Godzilla won Best Picture at the Japanese Academy awards! I’m so happy! Easily the best movie I saw in 2016. Nothing else that I saw was nearly as smart or fun.
(JEDIT- this is good)
Is there a way to port a wii game to wii u and edit it?
i’m confused by this question. Why not just try to hack the Wii game since the Wii u plays them?

And how do you do that?

Depends on the game but I’m sure it’s easier than porting it to another console then changing it lol. You’re gonna need to use Google.

But when I look it up it just shows stuff about the stupid homebrew channel.

The homebrew channel is great.
The homebrew channel is great.
But it has nothing to do with what I’m aiming for. Hacking a wii game and possibly portimg it to the wii u

You can play Wii games on the WiiU, by using the Wii channel. You can also softmod the Wii channel to put the homebrew channel and all the emulators, games, extras you can want.

Yeah good luck running a hacked game without the homebrew channel.
