Looks like puke green fluorescent to me. Still probably my favorite shot in the prequels too.

I always figured they had glowing (maybe even robotic) eyes so they could see in the dark or with some kind of enhanced vision.

I think a lot of shots from the prequels look pretty good as stills. The problem with the cinematography in those movies isn’t the framing and composition, it’s that dopey slow zoom thing George applies to every other shot.
