I’m a bit worried about the “alert all commands” being reused, but in the context of the whole movie it might not be as obvious.

Plus I have these things memorized.

No, the backgrounds are just manipulated images taken from various existing shots

Well it looks so good that, without the comparison, I wouldn’t have noticed most of them!

It’s so true, but they’re the best parts of this project I think. Few things are worse than weird discontinuous backgrounds.

By the way why is the footage changed here ? I don’t remember there was an issue with the theatrical version.

The Admiral jumps locations around the destroyer in the regular edit.

Just noticed the shutter opening on the medical frigate window. Neat!

I think it would be awesome to get the comparison first. Some people would wait until after so they could find stuff on their own, but I would love to study up on it and appreciate it all the more. ☺

Is that the video downloaded from facebook? 4.7MB? no wonder the videos are turning out so bad over there now is thats how small it compresses them

My favorite part of this project is showing it to friends and then pausing it every few seconds to excitedly explain all your changes, haha.

Wonderful clip, amazing how much better it looks.

Going way back to the Hoth battle, has the blast mark that suddenly appears on the AT-AT during Luke’s first attack run been fixed? Here’s two consecutive frames showing what I mean:

A very small detail, but it stands out more when in motion and once you know it’s there you’ll see it every time, like the elephant trunk in ANH.
