Hate to be a wet blanket here, but if George is so crazy as to not give the Library of Congress a copy of SW, then I agree that it's extremely likely that a caveat of his disney deal was that the OOT stays dead and gone.

Guys, hey. I know there is that other thread, but the edited OP implies that invites are no longer being given out left and right. 

I've been looking for this release on rutracker, among other things, but I can't find it. 

If the only place it's available is myspleen then I suppose I'm asking for an invite.

The only SE (I assume we are also talking about the DVD's and BD's here) changes I like, even though some are more "I can tolerate", are-

-Victory Celebration and the accompanying montage 

-Vader having no eyebrows in RotJ

-Better compositing of effects 

-The intial film cleanup, before they destoyed the colors

Also, unlike most people here it seems, I would theoretically like Hayden as a force ghost, if they had given him a chance to actually act for the scene. but as it is now, I don't think it's an improvement.

I always thought the blood test scene looked rather flat.

also, the link doesn't seem to say what crowd scene. would I be correct in assuming it was during the podrace?

I had heard that Lucas told people that he shot one scene in TPM digitally, but he never said which scene, or with which camera. I'd been under the assumption that he used the F900, although I just read that that camera was not in existence until he asked Sony to create it for use on Episode II.

so if the CineAlta F900 was the first digital motion picure camera, then what did Lucas use for the mystery scene from TPM?

also, if anyone knows which scene...

hello. long time lurker here but first time poster here. where could I pick this release up? the OP was rather vague. i would love to see Star Wars without the godawful magenta tint and darkening of the BD. thanks in advance :}
