Nice interview with Gary Kurtz to re-visit! (IGN interview in 2002)
Time

Gary Kurtz Producer of the first two SW films. Nice read about the films and creative decisions. The interview is long and it talks about his other works, but I believe the SW stuff is from page 2 on, those of you who want to learn more about “lucas’ vision” read on, no Kool-Aid here!!

May the Force be too good?

Episode 3 was disappointing on many levels...
Time
I'm sure they didn't, because 90% isn't special effects, you have watched them right? Small talk meaning all the "pointless and lame" of higher ground, and reading into what this character said and what it meant, it doesn't mean anything because the whole PT is "pointless and lame". And mebejedi I'm sure can talk for himself and besides it was just a little ribbing no trolling intended. late!

Saw the movie last night and god was it awful. The f@#!ing movie looks like a cartoon 90% of the time. This is what GL and fans wanted a practically whole cgi movie? gimme a break. And please stop with any comparisons of the original OT with these PT garbage, there is no comparison, from here on out I won't even recognize this crap as part of star wars as far as I know, no padme exist, no naboo, no nothing in the PT. Why even have ep I and II, you could have told this whole saga in one movie, the first two movies are so forgettable and just as lame as this last installment. All this small talk of, he said this so this means that and the other is pointless, the whole story sucked, poorly planned, executed, directed the whole thing, so it doesn't matter if you think you can make sense out of it, because the whole PT saga is pointless and lame. I've also read around that people are saying they cried watching a movie for the first time watching this film? you have got to be f@#ing kidding, what movies are you watching? Hey, mebejedi, quit trying to explain this crap and finish the damn xo project, oh nevermind i'm getting the cowclops version. late!

"Drink the Kool-Aid. Wear blinders. Cover your ears. Because that's the only way you can totally enjoy Revenge of the Sith -- the final and most futile attempt from skilled producer, clumsy director and tin-eared writer George Lucas to create a prequel trilogy to match the myth-making spirit of the original Star Wars saga he unleashed twenty-eight years ago. Fan boys, of course, have convinced themselves otherwise. So have several critics, if you go by early reviews."

Interview with Gary Kurtz (very good - from 2002 at IGN)
Time

Hi, read this interview a while back, i’m really starting to think lucas just lucked out with star wars. The interview is from Nov 2002 but alot of interesting stuff is said about lucas, its pretty long, the star wars talk starts like on page 2 i think, but good read. yeah I know Kurtz and lucas fell out of favor but nothing seems to come across as malicious or anything. I like what lucas told kurtz about empire strikes back being “too good”, lucas is slime, anyways, like to know what you guys think of the interview. Hope i do this right. Late.
