Yeah, I think there were a few mockups of that, they were great! I still highly recommend this.
I downloaded the rip, and upon extracting it, the last part has an error. It says the file may be corrupt or perhaps wrong password. I doubt it's the wrong password since parts 1 through 7 all worked.

it would be neat to re-edit it slightly so the planet is ord mandell (so hans comment in ESB could reference it), and to add a crawl.
one option could be a fan remake, where we can retrace the cartoon. with enough hands it would be surpirisngly easy and talentless. colouring and repainting backgrounds i can handle.
YES! That would be awesome! I also really like the idea of retracing it if possible. It would have superior overall quality plus it could be colored better so Boba Fett would be consistent with the movies. Slight edits would also be nice, the Ord Mandel suggestion would be pretty cool. Same with using some footage from the Droids cartoon. But does he have the same voice in the Droids cartoon?
The lightsabers in ROTS are my favorite. I think they all should look like that.

No. Except the one about Leia remembering her mother. Luke asking if she remembers her mother could just be removed. The others can be explained... Yoda probably DID train Obi-Wan before Qui Gon took him on as a padawan. And about the lightsaber thing, Obi-Wan could have assumed Anakin would have wanted his son to have his lightsaber, if that makes any sense.
Yeah, I'm sorry to say that I would prefer Shaw be replaced by something like that. There's no way to change Hayden in the prequels (No one is gonna reshoot Anakin's scenes), so to keep the consistancy, I'd rather have an aged Hayden than Sebation Shaw. I'm sorry, but it's true.
Ady, when Luke jumps off the platform, does he get sucked into that tube or does he purposly land in there? When I was young, I always thought it was just a coinsidence that he landed there. (And it looked so fake) But if it sucked him in, perhaps you should add some sort of vacuum sound effect. and speed it up so it doesnt look so fake when he goes in there.
That would be sweet! I'd like to see a total revamp for the moon of Endor.

It's a good idea and those lines do work really well. BUT... everyone would automatically be like "Heeeeeey, thats from LOTR!!"
MKV is an HD video format you can play on your PC via DivX or VLC Media Player. There are others but none worth noting.

It would be cool if Grevous was recolored black or something. And all the battle droids should be grey.
