I have the issue of Star Wars Insider with Bart VS Homer on the cover. The whole issue is about episode 1 rumors or something.

Yeah, I think all the space shots in the PT should get an OT makeover, except I like the asteroid field in AOTC. But all this extra stuff they added into the prequels is quite unnessisary. Just eye candy.

Ady, I'm happy that you're taking the best of both Wampas to create the ultimate Wampa prop.

I'm curious as to what aspects people like from each design. I never really disliked either Wampa. I have to say that I did like the horns, claws, and non-flat head of the SE Wampa, but for some reason it just looks more fake than the original IMO. But it never posed as a huge problem for me.

I have an original AT-AT model that was made before the film went into production. It has the 1978 written on the bottom and it says G. Lucas. Although I'm not 100% certain that it's legit. It doesnt move or anything, it's just for visual. But something interestng about it is that the window is red. I'll snap a pic of it maybe later.

I'm all for the morph effect. I do not think his ghost should be young Anakin, but I also think he should have some resemblence to Hayden. If it's a totally different person, it wouldn't be a good flow. I know everyone changes as they age, but Im sure if you had a picture of a young Sebastian Shaw for example, you would most likely be able to tell that it's the same person. So, unless Ady is going to change Anakin throughout the prequels (Pretty impossible), the morph is the best route IMO.

Speaking of Anakin, Should the scar on his eye be added to Shaw's face? I think so.

Well if Qui Gon deserves to be there, Mace should be there too. But having them there seems redicules to me. If I were Qui Gon's ghost, I wouldn't show up on some Ewok planet just to smile at Luke, especially since I would have never met him.

IMO, the 2D series should be cannon and the 3D one should be EU. Also, one jedi uses his lightsaber underwater in the 2D one for like the whole episode. I forget the Jedis name but he's the green alien one who gets killed by Palpatine right quick in ROTS. He can breath underwater I guess.

Well, I guess what it comes down to is opinion. I find them to be a little thick & too flickery in the OT. and the color of course.

On the topic of lightsabers, the only thing I liked more in the PT trilogy was the lightsabers. They look better and DEFINITLY sound better. Did anyone notice how the lightsaber clashes in the OT are quite loud and static-sounding while the clashes in the PT are more laser-esque? Especially in AOTC, they sound so good in that one for some reason.

That would be cool to see. Overall, I do hope Ady does make the PLANET Endor visible in some way.

Random Question: Was Max Rebo made out of paper mache?

Degobah Screens: Love them! Your background matte designs are awesome. Makes it seem like a more 'alive' planet. Also, I do like the idea of Yoda's hut being made out of parts from his space pod. It seems more realistic. If I were on that planet, I would definitely use my space pod as a house! Would that count as EU though?

If it's to make the sky look more interesting I can't help but think it would make more sense to give the moon of Endor an interesting planet to be the moon of rather than giving a moon a moon which isn't refererred to once in the film.

I like the first example where u just added some light around the edges and the red line. I dont think the whole screen should change in color. and the better noise screen is good too! Maybe it could be replaced by something 'laser-ish' (like the screen in ANH:R when the rebels are looking at the death star plans)

Question for Ady: Will you be adding any diologue from the radio drama? I listened to it today and there were a few lines I liked that could fit in well. (ie: During the lightsaber duel when Darth Vader says to Luke that he's not a Jedi yet. Luke says "You ceased to be one a long time ago.") Since the camera angle is from behind Luke, he could say that as he's walking up the stairs. Theres quite a few little things like that I found to be interesting in the radio drama.

What's everyone elses take on this?

Fantastic! I like that a lot more. It's more 'foresty'. I can't really think of anything else that could be put in besides more trees. I guess a moon or something could be added but it's not really neccesary. Perhaps little lights on the shield generator. Or would that even be noticable during the day time?

That is awesome! The light coming through the trees is perfect. I hope the final project looks like that!

I also enjoyed all of the green forest shots you did. I do like the first frame of the one with the ewok. Also, the other set you did was fantastic. There were two of them IMO that seemed 'over-green' though.

Now, I have to ask something that I've been wondering my entire life. At the first of the clip, when Luke hits Vader off of the edge, what is that sound? You can hear it twice (once in this clip) during their fight. I always thought it was Luke saying "Man!" But you hear the exact same sound twice & it always bothered me. Also, I don't know which version it is, but that sound is replaced by Darth Vader grunting when he falls off in one of them.

Man, when Ady comes to check on this, its gonna be hell. So much reading!

On the lightsaber issue. I too think that all of the lightsabers in the PT should be blue. BUT, there could be a couple exceptions such as Yoda having a green one or Mace having a purple or green one too. Thus, only the most powerful of Jedi had green lightsabers. (3 in existance)
