Battle Of Yavin Color Corrections
Time

@Ronster, Yeah, the orange on the pilots’ jumpsuits are almost all identical. The screenshot of the Pilot after the Porkins screenshot looks slightly brighter.
I guess, it also depends on everyone’s monitors/TVs, videocard colour settings and calibrations. Heck, even I notice some colour variance from my multi screens when working with Photoshop or checking images.
Regardless, your work is amazing. Keep up the great work!

Hey Ronster, amazing work on the colour corrections. However, the orange on Porkin’s shirt is a little lighter on the AFTER screenshot.

Rogue One * Spoilers * Thread
Time

I really liked the scenes that showed each Rogue One member sacrifice themselves for the greater good.
I especially liked K-2SO sacrificing himself in the Archive/Data room, to give them enough time to retrieve the plans.
The little nods the movie provided for the fans was a nice touch.
Obviously, the final Vader scene was incredible, and shows how angry, possibly hangry, he can really be.

However, I really hated the CG Tarkin. The scenes with CG Tarkin, threw me out of the movie experience.
Unfortunately, he’s an important character and needed to be in the movie.
It sorta felt like a “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” Meets “Star Wars”, mixing Animation/CG with Live Action.

I’d like to watch it again, since it’s already been a month since I first saw it.

Which version/release of the SW movies do you watch and why?
Time

When watching the Prequels, I use the 2011 BluRay Complete Collection. It’s quick and easy to pop in the Disks.
I’m currently streaming TV’s Frink’s Episode 1 Fan Edit. It’s quite funny, especially with Bender as one of the droids & the Superfriends reference.

However, when it comes to the Original Trilogy, I use Harmy’s DeSpecialized Editions. Though, I recently got Negative 1’s 35MM Restored V1.6 edition. So I’ll have to check that out soon.

Avatars don't update
Time

I have a problem where my Avatar is not showing up. I uploaded a small picture of Yoda with an Ewok and Gizmo.
Does anyone see my Avatar? I uploaded it again with no luck. I checked the site in a Chrome Incognito window, and it was displayed. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thank You.

UPDATE: Nevermind, I finally got my Avatar to appear.

'97 vs. '04 (and '11) - Your preference?
Time

I prefer the 1997 over the 2004/2011 Editions. I had already seen the 3 Star Wars movies back in the 80’s on VHS & TV as I was too young to see any of them on the Big Screen. However, when I found out they were being Re-Re-released on the Big Screen in 1997, I had to see them, no matter what.
I felt happy, knowing that I watched a version of the OT on the Big Screen.
Heck, if I had a time machine, I would use it to see them when they were all originally released.

Post in this thread to request an invite to MySpleen.org (you *MUST* read the first post)
Time

Hello All, Happy New Year!
I’ve already watched a few versions of Harmy’s DeSpecialized Editions of the Star Wars, which fills me with memories when I watched them originally on VHS copies in the 80’s. Thank you Harmy, and everyone else who worked/still working on this Project.

After searching for the newest versions of Harmy’s Editions, I stumbled on the discussion about NJVC’s Harmy Despecialized Edition BluRays with Menus & Extras. I’d love to get those BD ISOs, and preserve the OT in HD. Also, these BDs would look great next to the 2011 release.

I would really like to have an invitation to MySpleen.org. Is it still possible to obtain one?
Can anyone help me out?

Thank You!

Edit: Invite received, Thanks!
