Just to bring this up. been watchin the force unleashed 2 trailer and cant help but think what if geonosis battle was done at night. Would that feel more like star wars?

Correct, although Dark Lord of the Sith was in the novelization, and there are apparently notes from the '70s which have the name Mace Windu and the term Padawan in them.
That is true, though his name was originally Mace Windy not Windu lol. Ive always like the padawan name to be honest. Mace Windy sounds like he suffered from unusual amounts of ermm......gas lol.
I would personally like to see the Sith eyes go, Maul's eyes were part of his body. They are naturally part of him and his design. Dooku never has Sith eyes thank god. Anakin randomly has Sith eyes in Epi3 while looking at the camera, you george's way of saying:
''Look kids Anakin has yellow eyes, he has now turned evil!''
Palpatine having yellow eyes was good but wouldnt fit in with the rest if all other yellow eyes went. I never imagined Palpatine changing by electricution, I always assumed from epi2 and the OT that he was an evil decaying body by epi6. That it was the force keeping him alive. I'm never gonna put my finger near a socket again, you know, just in case i might turn wrinkly and it spoils my lovely blue eyes haha.

I think people often refer to Ady due to the fact that he has done some amazing work that has become quite famous in the editing world, he has become a editing idol of sorts, dont get me wrong there are amazin edits out there but Adywan is like the face of star wars edits. Like Hulk Hogan of old professional wrestling. Its just an automatic response in a way.
Rogue leader there are many of us here including myself who have 'gone too far' but we have learnt how to stop ourselves from doing that. If you can explain yourself correctly then people will not think you are being aggresive. There's a difference between a debate and an arguement. Debates create progress and arguements create arguements. Dont hold back Rogue Leader, just dont argue thats all.

Ive always loved this idea from the moment i heard it, tbh i think ive used it when i was rewriting episode 1 script.
In my concept i had the Naboo attack the Gungans thus had to retreat to underwater cities etc. they steal the Gungan's crystal (like a buddha stolen from a chinese village). This of course happens before the film.
The Neimodians attack and the Gungans see this as a return for the Gods and thus try and wipe Naboo out and the Gungans refuse to help them hense why they decide not to help the jedi. (Kind of nobody can save them from our gods kinda thing not even you Jedi). Later in the film the Gungans realise that this is not their Gods but invaders as Qui Gon had said.
I always loved the idea of technology vs. a religious aspect. Kind of like science and creation arguements. Besides takes it away from that political side of the PT that people hated.

I want to avoid clishe sci fi effects. Show energy/glow/bubble is not star wars.
Star wars always had invisible force fields and worked best rather having visible shields..

Looks awesome, would of done had some colour where the explosions were though, just small blue glow effect or something like that, to show its like a shield. Something like this but not as dramatic.

hey guys, i improved the head of yoda, any tips to make it better Angel? This is just mainly to improve my skills more than an actual suggestion for a change but never the less people are going to kill me but i quite like CGI Yoda, never had a problem with it apart from the terrible dialogue they gave him. Wouldnt actually mind him in the OT to be honest.
Improved the shadows and highlighted bit, put more yellow into the left side of the face, gave yoda a slight smile/smerk like the original picture. Hope u guys like it either way.
Hey guys just thought i would upset you with an image lol. Well i always wondered if George Lucas would go too far and have CGI Yoda in the originals, so i thought more and more about it and wondered what it would look like so i went on Photoshop and had a little play with the idea.
Im sorry about the quality, just couldnt get to head to feel natural to the rest of the scene, but then again it is CGI head but i tried my best.
Opened the flood gates now lmao!
Haha well i do plan on editing the whole script and will send to people who wish to have copy.

A rogue jedi who leaves the order which is explained in the film that he USED to be a Jedi and wasnt responsible for Padme's attempted assassination. Rogue Jedi is someone who doesnt follow the orders way of doing things. Dooku wants to start again with a new 'republic'. Script changes on the way.

Dooku having a different colour like yellow or orange etc. would just be something new on screen which would be leaving the audience confused i think, Dooku as a rogue jedi wouldnt change his lightsaber colour purely just coz he has different views. I know the sith have red but that represents blood, death, danger etc. The jedi use blue and green to represent good. Dooku as a rogue Jedi would still see himself as a good person trying to do the right thing. It comes down to point of view. In a nutshell Sith know they are evil and they use fear as a advantage. Jedi are good that use colours that symbolise good like blue or green. Rogue Dooku would still use noble colours like blue or green because he thinks he is good.
Lightsabers and weapons and apart of the Jedi's soul in some ways. Lightsabers are not mood rings that change when they feel differently about something. If you were to change Dooku's colour would Anakin have different colour half way through the saga because he doesnt agree with the council? I think not.

I agree that any editor making Dooku a rogue jedi and not a sith should change his red saber to a blue or green one, though.
When luke lights his lightsaber in ROTJ i just thought wow he built a new lightsaber! And its green! I didnt think OMG its green he must be a less dogmatic jedi version of an ancient order. I dont link colour with types of people, i personally like green lightsabers and would choose it myself if i were a Jedi. I wouldnt consider myself a rogue lol. The only colour changes that should happen should be Dooku if people are changing him to a rogue jedi, so he should be green or blue. Mace's saber should be changed to blue because that was the original intention for his colour (e.g. EU stories and toys featuring blue saber.)
Keep blue and green saber for everyone and red for sith.

Indeed, i wanted to show Obi Wan being more stronger in his points, get rid of silly dialogue. Had to post the beginning because i wanted to see how it would all pan out and for you guys to judge too. I have posted previous reeditted versions of TPM with Jar Jar speaking in alien language and speaking about how Naboo drove them to the edge of existence and Trade Federation, seen as Gods to the Gungans are coming down to take revenge on the humans. Jar Jar being the only one who realises these are not gods try to convince rest of the gungans that they are just here to destroy everyone. Then later the gungans realise this is true, join with the humans and fight the Trade Federation. Then the celebration at the end is the joining of two races.
Hey guys i thought i would create this thread just so editors could have some ideas for dialogue changes in scripts. Give a place for people would have ideas and can put them to paper (or should i say on screen). I would like to give an example of something i would like seen done in Episode 3:
PADME: I don't believe what I'm hearing . . . Obi-Wan was right. You've changed.
ANAKIN: I don't want to hear any more about Obi-Wan. The Jedi turned against me. Don't you turn against me.
PADME: I don't know you anymore. You're breaking my heart. You are going down a path I can't follow.
ANAKIN: Because of Obi-Wan?
PADME: Because of what you've done . . . what you plan to do. Stop, stop now. Come back! I love you.
ANAKIN: (seeing Obi-Wan) Liar!
PADME turns around and. sees OBI-WAN standing in the doorway of the Naboo Cruiser.
PADME: No!
ANAKIN: You're with him. You brought him here to kill me!
PADME: NO! Anakin. I swear ... I ...
ANAKIN reaches out, and PADME grabs her throat as she starts to choke.

Sorry to hear about your situation Ady. Not being a man of many great words but i wish you and your family all the best. That's what I also did in my individual EP2 edit (except I just gave Zam subtitles saying "in the Kamino System" instead of dubbing him/her/it), but for my 3-in-1 SOTOR edit, I needed to edit the toxic dart into something else entirely since the entire "Zam" subplot was removed from the story (so I just redubed the droid in the deleted "Dart Analysis" scene to change the dart into part of an explosive and gives Obi-Wan the info he needs about Kamino)
Hey JasonN all i can say is i enjoyed ur video with the droid analysis scene. I was thinking about people saying why is there a screen and a tube for the dart to go in, maybe you could edit it so the machine that scans the dart does more than just look at the dart, maybe a a test that looks at what metal was used or something to that degree, something that can kinda get Obi Wan into the galactic area. Maybe the scanner could have a radioactive thing that could be harmful to Obi in large quantities if he in that area, maybe have the tube be able to suck out the radioactiveness? Maybe as the thing gets scanned the room turns green with green laser or something to that affect, will try and do some mockups to visually show you what i mean.
In a nutshell, maybe the type of metal used to create the saber dart comes from the Kamino area, Obi Wan then goes to libary to find Kamino in the charts and isnt there. Adds a bit more to the detective plot. Not so much tracking the bounty hunter himself, more about finding the planet the dart came from. The again you could always have Obi go to Geonosis instead perhaps? I dunno just threw some ideas out there.

Looking at this link below, notice Luke is covered in snow in the first (top) shot, in the next shots the snow on his back decreases hugely. If there's any to do something about that or make it less jarring it would be great. Easier said than done, though.

Ive just got to mention that he is in a snow storm, the change in snow on his back could be explained by wind blowing snow on and off his back. Never really studied if that works or not but yea....
