An odd idea for Vader's hallway.

...

Is that background a picture of the Millenium Falcon from the Science of Star Wars exhibit? Either that or a behind-the-scenes shot.

Not sure. Found it on flickr.

Anyone have a Bluray drive in there PC?
Time

1. I loaded up the image (I guess that's pretty obvious, lol)

2. Choose the "Freehand Selection Tool"

3. I zoomed in on the image (doesn't matter where) and carefully selected areas of blackness around Sweeny, tracing along his clothes, etc.. I do it in small sections, so if I fudge-up something, a can easily undo.

4. When I get to the hair, I just take my time, and use my 'artistic license' (my best guess) to make it look half-desent.

5. Then I looked on Google for the silliest/cutest picture I could find (on the first page), and copy-pasted it into the image ('Edit' - 'Paste As New Layer'), and moved it to under Sweeny's layer (a quick drag-n-drop).

It may sound kinda complimicated, but it's not.

1. now how did you do that?

2. can you do that but have more of his body and upload the .psd file?

3. damn I have been trying to do that all freakin day yesterday and today LOL

1 - I used the Selection tool a whole bunch of times to cut away the background bit by bit.

2a - That's all the body that was seen in the original pic.
2b - I used Paintshop Pro...not Photoshop (I'm a cheep bastard) :(

3. I'm sure with a bit of practise you'll be able to do this sort of thing, too. :)

Question for the Photoshop experts here.
Time

What I would've done (using Paintshop Pro, at least), is get the background image you wnat to put the object into, trace around the object you want, copy it from the original image, and then paste the object onto the other image.

--or--

You could trace the object you want, promote it to a new layer, and then insert a new background under it ("Paste As New Layer"...or something like that).

...Now that I've thoroughly confused you, I know someone else will chime in -- one who actually uses Photoshop.

An interesting thread from Blu-Ray.com (no Blu-Rays yet)
Time

Oh well...Since I don't have a BR player to begin with, I'll just wait for the prequels to be released on CED Videodisc.......they still make those...right?*

* Please note the sarcasm. I know that CED's stopped being made in 1986, so don't worry - I'm not crazy...I'm just weird, lol.

(And, I already know that Return of The Jedi was one of the last movies released on CED.)

Okay. When trying to find an 'invisible' line, I saw something weird. A dark 'block' that blocks one of the shield-generator balls. It's real hard to see, and goes away quickly, so I made a pathetic animated gif of it. The spot to stare at is above 'demo' (at the edge of the letter-boxing).

Shield Ball

I know it's real hard to see...but, am I crazy??

- It's at the 33-34 second point in Ady's clip.

(if GIF doesn't download for ya, my bandwidth got exceeded - just wait a while)

...and MANY thanks, hugs, and kisses to 005 for compiling a list of wonderful people :)

No you are not crazy, this is what I mean :D

These blocks, shadows, squares and lines are here and there on the destroyer if you look close enough.

lol...kool.

[An] "invisible" [line] slowly moving down the command tower from the top at time: 00:30, and when the rebels transport passes, you can also see these "lines" on the side of the Tyrant, as well as by the engine area.

I think he's referring to faint residual electric arcs that are still running along the SD's body.
