I don’t know if those promo images will indeed prove to show legit versions of young Lando’s haircut and the Falcon’s re-design, or not…but I just hope that any ‘whooping’ and ‘hollering’ by the leads will be kept to a minimum in this…

There was a scene in one of the Brian Daley books where Chewie was in some sort of grooming room where his fur was being electrostatically cleaned or something. Reminded of how an old Kenner plush Chewie looks after it’s been washed. 😉

Is this movie still really set for release in May? And all we have is a possibly fake promo image? At this point, I’m not sure I’m going to believe this movie is a real thing that exists until the credits roll.

Actually, i keep thinking its going to turn into another december movie, but this close to release date, that seems like a very bad move… We don’t have any SW coming out December 2018 do we?

I feel like if they were going to push it back, they would have done so already.
The thing about a Star Wars movie is a think you don’t really need that much advertisement to sell it. Maybe they are hoping they can save some advertising bucks considering how much they probably spent on production. Plus they want to give TLJ it’s time to shine.

They are probably just cutting their losses at this point and trying to save money. It’s possible they calculated that more investment into this film would yield more lost money. Maybe the studio just said enough is enough.

It’ll be very interesting when all is said and done to find out what the total production costs were and how much exactly was reshot (sounds like it could have been around 80% of the film).
I guess they’re just hoping that the reshoots will have served to make a good film, and that that will be the best chance of it turning a profit.

Not the tweets. Somebody sneaked a cell phone video of a set where Han and Chewie were rising in a elevator in the middle of a room that looked like The Collector from Guardians Of The Galaxy had a penthouse apartment in Cloud City. There was an Ewok in a display case among other curios.
There was a different leak where Han was seen in a hot rod style landspeeder. Really gave off an American Graffiti vibe.
