That’s Yavin at the top. The base is on the 4th moon. Same as in the movie.

There are some properly awesome works of SW art in this thread and there are some real doozies as well, I doubt anyone’s choices for each category would line up exactly with each other though.

Because Star Wars was huge that summer and posters were an easy Fast Food promotion. A lot of the artwork was used for the glasses as well.

Thanks for posting that, I came across some of Jenny Dolfen’s art a few months ago and wanted to look it up again but I couldn’t remember her name. I really like her take on Tolkien.
Also, I saw a notebook a couple weeks ago that had the art from the Burger Chef poster with the droids as a cover.

I really dig the vintage stuff like the Burger Chef posters and Burger King glasses. It was still all so innocent and untainted that summer. It was a blockbuster summer film and the cool stuff that went with it. It was how you interacted with it when you weren’t in the theater.
