Duderte is an American hero.
You seem like a pleasant person.

You seem like a pleasant person.
I never doubted you for a second. Wonderful!

Trump has done only six of those things.
In any case, where would I get a VPN? You know, hypothetically?
I’ve heard Cloak is good, but it doesn’t have a Windows version yet.
This should be a good list of VPNs.
Size matters not.
Would it help if I got out and pushed?
Ok.

PT Anikan has to be one of the worst. Both versions are badly written, whiney, and/or annoying. I don’t feel that either have any connection to the man later known as Darth Vader, character development-wise.
Also, almost all members of the Jedi Council in the PT are pretty stupid.
The thing that’s most annoying about the “Rey phenomenon” (aka “Operation Squirrelface”)
I like this guy.
I’m not surprised.
TV Tropes goes into some detail as to why the term has lost its meaning, but the gist of it is that it was originally intended to describe perfect female avatars of authors writing fanfiction, since at that time many online fanfictions were written by women. The term could also be used for perfect male author avatars (Gary Stu), but this term never saw wide usage since there already existed a term for this character: Action Hero (James Bond, John Matrix)
LOL! This is a ridiculous attempt at equivalence. And that’s the last I’m saying on this subject.
Thank god! Now we can all talk about Mary Sue shitwriting in peace!
The thing that’s most annoying about the “Rey phenomenon” (aka “Operation Squirrelface”) is that she’s not fulfilling any actual wishes of girls or women. She’s specifically designed to engineer and instill new wishes into a henceforth non-existent female fanbase.
And the committee responsible for her inception is so clumsy and obvious that they lacked any ideas of how to create this Herowoman for a New Millenium without making her an omnipotently overpowered Mary Sue avatar. It’s facile, lazy, dramatically bereft, and leaves nothing of emotional impact to take away from the movie. And she’s not as cute as Leia '77.
What?
That’s interesting. I’m a little surprised, to be honest. 😉
Quick non-binding poll: Do you all want me to come back as a regular poster at OT.com?
- The Empire Strikes Back
Everything is bigger and better. Plot and script are great. May be considered one of the best films of all time.- Return of the Jedi
The needed sequel to The Empire Strikes Back. You can’t have one without the other. I can tolerate some of the lower points of the film. Overall, a great end to the trilogy.- The Force Awakens
A modern film in all the good ways. I like the diverse cast, the script, and the plot. Rey is great. Edges out Star Wars for me.- Star Wars
A solid film. Not as good as the other ones, but still great. It is very important in that it introduces all the characters.- The Phantom Menace
A terrible, terrible film. Edges out the two other prequels because it’s at lease semi-entertaining in its badness. Also contains some questionably racist characters.- Attack of the Clones
Absolutely horrendous. Bad for the same reasons all the prequels are bad: A terrible script. The “romance” story is spectacularly bad.- Revenge of the Sith
Taken on its own, Revenge of the Sith may be the best of the prequels. However, it finds its place at the bottom of the list because it failed at what it was supposed to do: Tell the story of how the good man who was Anakin Skywalker turn to Darth Vader. The first two also failed at this, and the last one failing is just sad. If I removed this factor, I might have put Attack of the Clones here.
Updated ranking, which I am not completely satisfied with:
The Empire Strikes Back
This will always be the best Star Wars movie. Great plot, characters, and dialog.
Star Wars
I didn’t want to bump this one all the way down to the number five spot with my addition of Rogue One, so I bumped it up here.
Return of the Jedi / The Force Awakens
No extra thoughts.
Rogue One
I think I liked Rogue One more than the average Star Wars fan. A great plot with some standout characters make it a great film.
The Phantom Menace
At some points The Phantom Menace gets to the so bad it’s good point, so that at least makes it half-watchable, plus it doesn’t really have anything to do with the rest of the movies.
Attack of the Clones
Ugh.
Revenge of the Sith
No.
I’m probably going to stay away from posting for a while now. Goodbye.
- The Empire Strickes Back
- Return of the Jedi
- The Force Awakens
- The Phantom Menace †
- Star Wars
- Attack of the Clones
- Revenge of the Sith
† I do really like this score, but due to how lists work, it has been relegated to a lower place than I might have wanted it to. (And no, I do not accept ties.)
Updated ranking, which I am pretty satisfied with:
The Empire Strikes Back
A really good soundtrack.
Star Wars
I think I pretty severely underrated this soundtrack in my original ranking. After listening through it again, I really liked it.
Return of the Jedi
Pretty good. Side note: It’s pretty much impossible to find a good version of this soundtrack that either doesn’t sound like crap or has been watered down to oblivion.
The Force Awakens
Thumbs up.
Rogue One
I think most people underrate this soundtrack, but I loved how it sounded and worked in the movie. I also liked how it tied in with the A New Hope soundtrack.
The Phantom Menace
Thumbs up. I especially like ‘Anikan’s Theme’.
Attack of the Clones
Pretty unremarkable as far as Star Wars soundtracks go.
Revenge of the Sith
Pretty much the same as Attack of the Clones.
He’s still active!

Come on son, post some. We miss you.
Hi.
Final clarification: I meant what I wrote. I will be gone, and it could be a long time. Or a short time. TBD.

(And, btw, this will be my only activity today (includes logging on) and probably tomorrow. Enjoy.)
I could see an argument for over-sensitive. I could never see an argument for prude.
At some point yhwx will have to admit that he compared himself to the PT, but I don’t know how long it will take. It’s a terrible burden for sure.
Nope
It’s not my fault you (accurately) compared myself to the OT and yourself to the PT.
It’s your fault that you didn’t understand what I said correctly.
It’s your fault that you think I should care about what you meant to say, when what you actually said is so much more important.
The meaning of my statement is pretty clear. You just purposefully misread it to knock one against me.
Do you like the PT?
No, I don’t.
Then you should stop trying to use the PT in your defense.
Not my intent. I’ve already made my intent even more clear than it was in my original post. You just keep on ignoring it.
It’s hard to take you seriously when you keep comparing yourself to the PT.
I only did it once. What you think are all the other times are purely a figment of your egotistical imagination.
No, I didn’t. All times are a figment of your imagination.

No, I don’t. Yet again you continue to twist my words so that you can say something that’s unflattering against me.
