Ah that's a shame. I never knew that about Carrie Fisher....I feel that she was and is still a decent nice person....Stay clean Carrie, please.

Adywan,

Would you consider re-editing the Death Star chasm scene so that it appears Luke throws the grappling hook twice, missing the first time?

I assume you are familiar with this SW urban legend. If not, you can read about it in the my memory isn't that bad, is it? thread.

I just think this would be really cool to see. Maybe you could do it as one of your "extras" that won't be included in the actual movie.

With some clever editing of existing footage, you could probably pull this off. The only shot you don't have is the hook missing and bouncing off. Based on some of the other things you've pulled off, I wonder if you could "make" that shot.

In any case, keep up the excellent work!
BLOODY HELL PLEASE DON'T. Maybe as a easter egg or something....

Ah, what are you using as a connection between your PS2 and your TV? Composite? I doubt if your PS2 will output an anamorphic picture via a composite connection....I think it needs to be component....I'm probably wrong though.

Anamorphic output does not change resolution. It is still 720x480 NTSC. You can even watch the anamorphic, unsqueezed picture on a 4:3 TV if you set up your player to 16:9. Therefore, it doesn´t matter what kind of video connection you use.

Ah.

Ah ok...whatever...what a shame. Do us all a favor and stop saying one thing only to quickly do a 180 and say something else...

I feel pity for you kid....You are seriously messed up. I don't pretend to know what's wrong with you, but something clearly is....

Your constant emotional swings and an inability to finish what you started will make your life a difficult one....good luck kid. I hope you get the help you so desperately need....

LOL
Do yourself a favor and stop imagining all the different ways LFL could of lost or damaged the film.....all your doing is spewing rumor and made up theories......please stop.

Are you saying you were a long-time lurker or that "vbangle" is a sock puppet account?

Ah both actually....I remember reading a post in a newsgroup somewhere that there was a movement to get the OOT out on DVD....found this site and signed the petition...but that was years ago...almost two years later I had started my own Laserdisc project privately and came to this site again....Not remembering my handle from before, I just signed up again as vbangle, which of course is my real name.... and have used that ever since.....

BTW my LD project was abandoned because I suck at that....only after a day or two seeing what others had done I realized I was just spinning my wheels, so I put that ugly gal to rest....

Yeah, I thought about the DE editions, but I thought it would be more of a realistic fantasy of mine if I kept the set to six discs,LOL. Although I do have the DEs in my collection already, and they are nice.....
