I'm sorry if I came off as pissed or something but it just didn't make sense to me.

Why would Lucas miss the biggest marketing opportunity for Star Wars this decade by not releasing the mega set on the anniversary date? Why wait 4 months and then release the DVDs.....you don't need a degree in sales and marketing to know that was a major boo-boo....And if this set is released in the USA first as you claim then why isn't there anybody from the states saying the same thing? Surely there would be someone here who has a buddy or a friend of a friend that would be privy to the same foreknowledge as your boss but even sooner.....

I hope its true but the problem is we have seen people post these rumors here before, and time and time again they turn out to be worthless.....

Now if you came on here and said that you saw the promotional materials in the back of the store and had a date when your store was to expect its first shipment...that would be different.

Not to take away from Daveytod's work, but exactly how many copies of this fan edit were ever downloaded? A few hundred? more ? less? What pencil pushing bean counter at LF decided that "The Clones Revealed" was a big enough threat to their empire that they had to flex their muscle like this.....idiots.

Very sad news.....

It is with a sad heart I announce that fanedit.org will be going on hiatus for a while.
Due to recent legal actions it was in the best interest of the owner and admins of fanedit.org to remove the site.
