I've read the discussion on trying to explian the force ghosts. I'm not sure how your going to do some of the things that you've said. All I can say is that I hope you pull it off well(partically the Qui-gon dissappearing thing). Personally, I would just leave the force ghost thing as, it is(with just another Qui-gon VO in the dream sequence).

One change I've made since the last post was that I've flopped both of the shots of Anakin in bed, because I like it better and also because now, his face and his mother's are not quite on top of each other anymore. I couldn't fip the shot of Shmi anyway because there's the continuity problem with her large scar.

Thanks and, I actually didn't think of doing that kind of a cut until I saw your screenshots. I just thought of another way a hard cut could work. Mabye he starts to say "Mom, no, no" in his dream. Then cut to the start of the zoom and, he continues his lines. Again it's just another suggestion that may not work with the style of dream you've made. I'm very glad to hear that deja vu won't take place though.

Actually you can subscribe to threads without a posting now. <- When you click that in a thread you want to subscribe in you get to a page that gives you that option.
Also, if you click the today button in the upper right corner. You can manage your subscriptions there in the left column.

Trooperman: I think that your doing a good job. I think that the dream could be effective with a hard cut to "no mom, no.". Since your dubbing Anakin you could make it sound that it's even worse then we see("no, no, MOTHER!"). Also, for something that I'm doing for my edit in the future is that any footage I'll use for the dream will be flipped. I don't know if this is something that you would want to consider but, that's what I'm going to do(mostly to avoid a deja vu effect I get when viewing other dreams in movies, though that might already be avoided by the color/speed your using and, in motion it won't be noticable.). I also, like how you did the Balcony scene. I like how the shots seem more real as, well.*thumbs up*

Here's a three lists. There's also, some that they didn't put in the article(s). For example, in Empire in the cave when Luke is getting away they added a lightsaber turning off(sound only). The video still shows it on.

Edit: I found the webmaster's response to not adding it to the article.
"I did consider adding the saber deactivation blooper, but it's hard to communicate that it happens at the wrong tiem with just a sound clip and a static picture. I may add it later though."

I think this is just more proof that George Lucas didn't have the PT written way back when he first made the OT... After Jedi he got divorced and, his ex got 24 million in the settlement. So, he had to build up that money again.

I think the reason Padawan doesn't show up in the OT is becuase, it's not usefull anymore. The Sith don't use it. Obiwan and, Yoda haven't called anyone Padawan since the old days(not only that but, there trying to fit as, much training as, possible in for Luke. Not waist time making him study ranks).
Though, the "rule of two" can easily be arguable that it doesn't apply at all(in the PT or, the OT). Why? Well, only Yoda says anything about it and, it's not brought up again. If I recall correctly Greivous said that he was trained by Dooku. Why would Sidious allow that training to go on if that was a rule? In the OT they're both trying to turn Luke to the Dark Side. Why are they trying to do that if there was a "rule of two"? Why not just kill him? I understand that Vader was his father but, Sidious has no attachment to Luke at all.

The reason G4 and, Tech tv merged is becuase the owner of Tech tv sold it. Why? Well, he wanted to get more money for the X-prize contest. So, Comcast took over both G4 and, Tech tv. The founder of G4 has had barely any say in the matter(he was working for comcast to begin with. So, they can do whatever they want to the channel.). Anyways, enough about that if you want me to go into detail pm me.
