I respectfully point out that this is just your opinion, and it's based on nothing else than your fantasy. I don't think your accusatory conjecture deserves the slightest of respectful treatment, neither does your stating it as a fact.

Rebecca Black - My Moment
Time

First time I saw an official Rebecca Black music vid in it's entirety. Up to now I've only seen snippets of "Friday" never the full thing.

First thought: Ugh, auto-tune. I liked it better used in that cat video.
Second thought: 'Kay I'm watching Elvis now to listen to better music.
Third thought sometime later: Wha..? Oh yeah I'll leave my comments on OT.com about my thoughts on this thing.

I don't have much of an opinion on this... I just don't care. *shrug*

Why isn't his blood invisible?

When a containers refractive index is the same as air objects & materials within the container are not visible. This is due to the light bending around the object itself. If we're to assume Frink's body is in that chair with invisibility powers he's also naked glasses aside.... So anyways...

Btw, I've remembered another few nice words from the recent past: "dick", "dickwad". Guess who said it, and to whom.

So why don't I hear suggestions to ban you, or anyone else?
No weak defenses, please.

Chuck [The final episode has aired. Chuck is concluded.]
Time

I largely feel that in spite of a few story flaws. That Chuck is really entertaining and, funny. With great performances and, chemistry amongst Chuck and, Sarah. It makes me lenient towards the story in due part to the rest of the show being supremely awesome in so many ways. So while I agree with you that the story does start to become a tad convoluted. I still think of Chuck as a top show for being so well done in many of it's other aspects.

(Also, yes I was holding off of immediately replying to you until I thought about what you said for a bit. Plus, I was having trouble sleeping too...)

So how is a "comment on me" on topic, but a comment on an avatar already not?
I'd say the line is drawn between topic and person, not person and avatar ;)

A picture of a Vader costume also doesn't have anything to do with a topic discussing a particular issue of Star Wars.
It says "connected the topic", not "the movie series mentioned" ;)

So whatever, it's kinda an idiotic rule anyway.

No you just fail at understanding dictionary definitions. You admitted to not attempting to be funny with it. Trying to be comical is by definition an attempt at being funny. Therefore your humor was not lost on us because, there was none to begin with.

I've covered this all in that post you "yawned" at.
Basically, you're wrong (including about my intentions), and you can read that post to find out why.

I'm done with repeating myself endlessly.

All I'll say is, as I haven't really addressed this there, there are different kinds, or rather degrees, of "funny": Something that actually makes you lol, then there's anti-humor which is funny by... being explicitely unfunny, and there's the inbetween thing that kinda just makes you "chuckle", ideally.

Like, if we have an evening party with some buds, some things dropped will inevitably cause minutes of laughter, then at other times, someone will say or do something that's kinda bland, kinda funny, kinda pale, but still makes you "chuckle" or "smile", or roll your eyes feigning annoyance, or anything along those lines, because it's kinda a bit funny, but also lame, and goes nowhere. But kinda amusing.
You may call it "filler", I guess. But it's a positive one, and boy, can you tell it from a "srs" statement of any kind (which are also dropped en masse at meetings like this).

Really your defence of this just makes you appear to be a creep.

Nothing creepy about insinuating that you may consider changing your vote upon realizing you were wrong, but are reluctant to say it aloud :p

"Hey, Frink, look, twister just thought she should change her vote, could you do that please? LOL"

Very creepy.

Given your lame thread title, her post was on-topic, and since it pointed out how lame you are, I'd say it added value to the discussion.

So who's got Asperger's here, hands up!

My pic pointed out how silly Moth3r's avatar was (mimicking his silly opinion), so it contributed a lot, too.
So thanks for discrediting the validity of my temp ban.

My post was triple fold. An image only post, a comment on you, AND it was Star Wars gifs of the Star Tours promotional Disney vid. I was on-topic twice. Talking about Moth3r's avatar in a Star Wars forum is not on topic at all. Does not add to the discussion of Star Wars at all. It's to be discussed via PM or, off-topic.

That's after seemingly proving my usage of "humor" to be wrong, by citing a dictionary.
I cited another meaning from the same dictionary, which supports my usage.

So I guess now you have no reason to vote against me anymore - and a vote with no legs to stand on ain't worth crap :D
So yea, just you got that. But apparently not.

Basically, an opinion CAN be "promoted" to a fact, or rather, "pretty damn certain knowledge", it just needs good evidence.
Making a prediction that if I let go of my pencil, it'll drop to the floor, is a fact; weather or medical predictions are "probability statements", or professional opinions, and some shaky, disputable suggestion how to improve one's finances, an opinion.

l certainly was hoping for a chuckle or two, but it just wasn't really good. Kinda pointless.

That was meant to be funny??? It looks like we'll need a humour archaeologist to find the funny in that statement.

The question is, was the "funny" undetectable, or the obvious "attempt"?

Although I took this comment as a joke, so I replied with this brilliant gem:
Humor = it wasn't meant seriously. If you need an archaeologist to figure out that [[i.e., that it was INTENDED as a joke, not seriously]], you might as well try to use an X-Ray to find your brain.

That's what all the smart academics call:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-humor

A "joke", still easily detectible as such, and distinguishable from something "serious", that's meant to be funny, or at least slightly amusing, by being emphasizedly bad, or leaving out the punchline, or replacing an expected punchline with something unfunny.

All ambiguities aside, a person unable to tell that from a serious statement, lacks sense of humor all the same.

Mine was a really stupid analogy that didn't work.

Anti-humour is often emphasized by a long, awkward pause, as often done in the RedLetter Media short films.

For what it's worth, sorry for saying "humor transplant" rather than "irony transplant" or "not-serious-statement transplant". I only know of the expression "humor transplant". The others I don't know of. Or have ever heard of.

Excuse the brevity of this post. I read the new posts. I did make a post prior but, I mainly was skimming at the time. So, apologies to doubleKO for incorrect listing in my PSA. Anyways this whole thing's basically defence of a non-humour being incorrectly defined as "humor" extended to many pages.
